So it seems things are starting to kind of pick up for me, these next couple months till harvest may not be so extremely rough..

Since I'm feeling a little better today, decided I would make a worm bin, start making my own vermicompost. Found out I cant use earthworms though so going to have to try to find a good supplier for red wigglers. Can't find anything locally.

Hey man keep your head up! You know good things happen to people who pray right ;)

And that's awesome on the worm bin! I'm currently starting on a new compost pile since after the move, god I hated having to start over so I know what it's like to be without being able to do what we love but stay up brotha, good things come to those who wait....

Thanks Gigs, you're a good man. Just got to take it day by day for now. :)

Yeah I'm pretty stoked on the worm bin, something new and I use vermicompost all the time. I am also starting a compost pile out back.

Waiting is the key. :D

Here is my first try at some iso hash.

I used 4 grams of 8Ball Kush trim I had left, with 91% iso. I did a 30 second wash, didn't shake just swished it around. I then filtered it into a pyrex pan with a single unbleached coffee filter. Finally I did a water purge to speed up the evaporation process, and kept the temperature around 140-150f. I kept it in there until there was no longer an iso smell.

The result was a real surprise to me. I ended up getting a little over half a gram of product back. It is a wonderful orange color, shatter consistency, clarity is amazing, the taste is so-so, but burns very clean and smooth.

Really gave me second thoughts on my doing strictly BHO. Won't have anymore trim to work with for 2-3 months though. :p

Monday, June 2nd, 2014:

So I've been out of meds and it's been hard the last week or so, hopefully getting some soon. Anyways I managed to make up a half gram of shatter last night so I'm feeling good today and should be able to get up and carry on with some things on the list of To Do's. :p

First thing I need to finish up is the worm bin. All I have to do is cut the hole in the lid, duct tape a screen on there, then lay the bedding down. Just got the e-mail that my worms have shipped this morning. I only purchase the 250 pack of red wigglers. I read somewhere that it's better to start with less and let them breed and grow to the bins holding capacity, but then was later told I should of just bought the 1000 pack because too much worms is never a bad thing. I think since I'm new it's better to start a little smaller anyways, plus my bin is only 2 cf so it's not huge.

Besides that don't have too much planned for today. Since i'll have the energy I'll probably look around for some things to do. Need to start a compost pile in the back, as well as make a new lid for my new dirt bucket, and clean the bathroom.

What to do first? Lol

I guess I'll smoke.

Hell yeah get a bin going man, seems really easy. That sounds like a pretty damn easy mix though.

I'm pretty stoked on the bin. If I have fresh vermicompost on hand all the time, I would have no probably feeding my plants that every watering. Obviously it gets to the point that you can't really add to the microbe population but the plants seem to love it anyways.

If you do not ask the right questions, you do not get the right answers.

Always loved that quote since I started growing. Don't remember where it's from though lol.

That's awesome man. I would love to do that if there wasn't so much ditch weed around here that would just ruin it.
