Companion planting easy pest control

Hey all
Just wanted to start this thread about a simple natural way to control pest on your outdoor plants without need to spray anything, Basically companion planting is planting certain plants that naturally deter insecets next to or near plants that certain nasty insects are attracted to also planting plant that attract certain beneficial predatory insects to eat other bad pests.
So basically I hope everyone can throw in there ideas to help others out I will start with one of my favorite all rounders :

Pyrethrum is a plant part of the crysanthemum family and is very easy to grow requiring minimum water and maintenance it has been used for years to make insect sprays out of the plant it self works very well as a natural deterrence against
Aphids, leafhoppers, spider mites, harlequin bugs, ticks and lots more!!

Something to attract ladybugs which eat other pests and there eggs too!! Lots of common herbs like Tansy, Dill and coriander and lots more!

Great Idea..
The only companion planting I know are things like onions, garlic, mint, and marigolds.. I've tried them around my veggie garden but they didn't help all that much aside from the onions.. I plant them 3 rows deep around the perimeter of my garden and they seem to keep out the rabbits and deer.

cilantro does well for keeping pest out. easy to control as well. imo companion cover crops serve more for beneficial values like npks etc etc. I wouldnt rely on them to keep pest out, more like a symbiotic relationship to keep the circle of life flowing, oh and great for preventing topsoil erosion!

Great Idea..

Marigolds also work very well to protect against nematodes nasty lil buggers! Thanks for your input!!
