1 in 4 Americans make less than $10.00/hour, I'd say that's a pretty significant portion of the middle class

Jobs that hire adults should be required to pay reasonable living wages to their employees that don't require those employees to use government aid, that's why adults get jobs, to support themselves. If you want to run a business and pay the employees less than that, hire minors with work permits who aren't working to support themselves and see how well your business runs.
