Seattle won the super bowl this past year. They didn't have the best player, or lead the league in all categories.well, the USA AND... Japan, Germany, France, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Norway, Finland, S Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Switzerland..........and like 157 more. There is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world. We’re seventh in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science among middle school students, 49th in life expectancy, 46th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income, number four in labor force and number four in exports. We lead the world in only five categories. Highest number of annual immigrants, Highest cost of post high school education, Number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real and defense spending, where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined. Twenty-five of whom are allies.
Jeff Daniels says it better, but he gets his facts screwed up.
You don't have to be number one at everything to be number one.
