man i dont think i have smoked any weed that has been cured .lol.. cant keep it that long . i dont grow enough to put any back i grow perpetual , i take 2 plants a week and i only get like 1 oz per plant . i keep it small but on the go... that way i always have fresh smoke every week.one day i might try and do a cure to see whats all the fuss.

I have some stuff that's over 7 mos cured now (Sugar Punch baby oh y ea!). It's very smooth smoke. It's a little more sedative than it was previously but still quite trippy and enjoyable.

Bout to try some premature EmDog to judge the buzz. I've smoked a bit but it's mainly been for the flavour as my other buds are pretty decent. Minimum of 2 weeks early :(

Wish I could have let her finish, but there was no way I could have managed to care for her after my surgery. I'm recovered pretty well now and of course hindsight :)

Any citrus smell/flav to the new BO offspring?

I smoked some Santa cruz Blue Dream earlier this morning.
It was grown by a close bud, I have grown it before though.

My first [ and only ] was a life saver done in an emergency room at 2 AM 5 yrs ago this month. The surgeon told me some days later that I was within hours of paralysis, a day from death. Recovery was long and difficult - it took days just to walk 10 steps - but in 4 months I got back to about 90%. Muy fortunado ! Very blessed.

It's certainly cliche', but nonetheless true: having nearly lost life, I'm keenly aware of my great fortune in living on. I take nothing that is good in life for granted, and I eliminate all that is bad to the ability I can control. No buzzkill allowed.

Glad you're back to speed. :)

Faint. I smelled it in grow, but can only taste a hint so far. I hope the citrus will come out more in the cure.

Two others 7 - 10 days from chop have no citrus smell at all - again.

looking for orange odors or just citrus in general? You could always find f2 them. I bet the tres is dominate in this case

I wouldn't go to the trouble. The Tangerine Power that recently finished has smells and tastes of orange - per description. Potent, too. I've got a couple of those left. I dig it when beans turn out as the breeder describes.

I fell victim to the OG Grape Krypt which of course doesn't have any grapeyness to it at all, in fact it's grapefruit for some odd reason. The parentage was Captain Crips OG Kush X Grape FX.... Grape FX is grapefruit given a different name. The thing is I used to buy this shit, well a grapefruit strain, from my weedguy back in the day. If he had anything else I would get it instead, I didn't find it that potent. Luckily mine turned out way better then the junk I used to buy. Main thing I learned is assumptions will get you smacked in the face in the seed buying game :( I have started to dig deeper into the parents of the strains I'm buy but you still never know what you're going to get.

The smoke was decent or I would have been really turned off DNA. Still not exactly ecstatic about it but it was definitely quality herb. This is why I'm on the hunt for grapeyness from other breeders now :) It's disappointing to spend the time expecting something, even if the expectations are low. I don't expect to have a huge grape flavour, but this stuff wasn't even close to sweet or anything, it actually tasted quite a bit like grapefruit after a good cure kind of sour ish but not too sour just a hint. Beautiful plants that grew perfect(by my standards :) ) and didn't give me a single problem. Or else I would be shitting all over them right now :)
