I staked mine, but I much prefer the cages. I just didn't have the room this time since they're in pots instead of the ground.

Why in the hell can't they make a good determinate tomato?

I just stick to the few I know, like beefsteak, and the yellow globes.....I never knew they made those kind of tomato plants.I kinda like the idea of getting a harvest all summer better than all at once and then nothing.

Hey, korvette1977, If you really have the women you say, I take my hat off to you; that's very admirable in my opinion and you should have mentioned It earlier I might have seen you differently. But honestly with your claim of overshadowing my one with your five women reminds me too much of my old friends from back home. We would be going out to bars, nightclubs, etc. And my friend would usually bring his digital camera so he could see all the girls he would meet. As soon as he started shooting pictures, the girls just loved it. And he would put his arm around them and show them what they look like. The funny part was that the girls wanted the pictures. So he needed to get their names, numbers, and emails. LMFO... But I'll give you the benefit of the dought dude... rock on.

I planted indeterminate variety this year, my neighbor tells me that I should pull them off the vine as soon they start to ripen so they will keep producing..he says I leave them on the vine too long???

When you pull them ever so slightly and they come off in your hand, they're done. They plant shouldn't really move.

Look great.. I'm so tired of those crappy store tomatoes.. they taste more like watermelons then tomatoes.. I paid $1.25 for 1 F*****g tomato.

I assume what he means is the apparent contradiction between wanted to be treated equally and "like a lady". That irks me sometimes too. Do you want me to ignore the fact that you are (physically) the weaker sex or not?
