Rapid yellowing of lower young and mature leaves.

She is growing upward at about a rate of 1.5 inches a day, with green, healthy, unmutilated top and side growth. The core of the plant is showing what appears to be a rapid chlorophyll and water loss (chlorotic and then necrotic). The trunk, branches and all visible branches are of good health. I agree with others, that I have been feeding them a bit extreme (every day), but since having started membership here:

1. I have decreased nutrient solution to 3/4 strength during feeding and 1/4 strength during leeching at a 1-watering cycle.
2. I have increased total used water (from 10gal to 55gal) for waterings to allow for sufficient leeching.
3. I did an azatrol soil drench at 5oz:5gal for treatment and preventative for any soil bastardos.

Could this be an extreme case of Iron Chlorosis?

I have another thread in the Outdoor Gardening section.

Low on N and high on K would be my guess. Did you stop feeding her with bloom nutes? If so, start them back up, a plant needs a little N thru 85% of her life.

I use BioVega 3-1-5 with Nature's Nectar 5-0-0 added to boost it to roughly 8-1-5. I start by adding Aptus FaSilitator at 3ml/5gal, aerate for minimum 3hrs, add base NPK, aerate/stir 3 minutes, add complimentary nitrogen, add Aptus Startboost, aerate/stir 3 minutes, add 30ml/5gal Cannazyme (under recommended dose), use within 30 minutes. Water at 1/3 strength, allow 5 minutes, water at 2/3rds strength, allow 5 minutes, empty water reservoir on them.

On "water days" I dilute the entire nutrient solution to 20% and use 15gal of water per 20gal pot.

No bloom nutrients as of yet, as it is still producing vegetative growth. The nitrogen has been boosted quite a bit. Can I go higher without burning? I have noticed at times an increase of nitrogen will cause the tips of the growth to show excessive nutrient, burn. I am lost.

If thats all you are worried about then my friend stop worrying. Your girl looks crazy heathy.
Thank you for your kind words. Could it be the plant stripping the older leaves of mobile nutrients? If that is a possibility, could I not theoretically increase the nutrients to stop the chlorosis/necrosis?

That's exactly what's going on. Totally normal during flower even with a strict feeding regiment. Maybe feed a bit stronger next time and keep an eye out for any changes. If the whole bottom was fading I'd start to worry. But, a couple leaves is business as usual.

Daily there are 10-15 leaves that appear completely exhausted. Not yellow, not dying, but dead, completely devoid of water. The yellows are the next ones in the line.

The symptoms are not shown on the other two of the same size. They are all fed the same quantity of nutrients at the same time. The size of the leaves is not limited to the large older ones, but also the internal small branch base leaves.

I meant grow nutes, my bad. Many people stop feeding grow nutes at the flip but a plant needs some N most of the way thru until chop. Sorry if I confused you.
