i have a couple of purple haze outside, since 7-1-14, i had a few problems with the other 2 plants but never the purps, i have been feeding them age old grow, with a little cal mag and silica, recently i had dropped silica and used some age old promote, any way, they were doing really well, as of today they were progressing very well, i had some left over pure blend formula, i guess i didn't realize it was maybe old? i don't know, either way i ran them with the normal watering, about 5-6 gallons split between 2 15 gal pots, this has worked great they were really pushing on, then i used the left over dose today for the first time this grow.. almost instantly everything started turning brown and and curling up, i can only assume it had to be a nute burn from the old bottle of formula, it wouldn't stop i thought the whole plant was gonna croke, i rinsed the shit out of them and now I'm just stressed out. the weird thing is i watered them both on irrigation so they get an even amount of water each… only one is way worse than the other???? it has gone from being bushy and happy to getting burned and it looks like it hurts, its not just on the outer fans its in the new growth too, its just wrecking them!!!!!!!!!! i am rinsing them and they are still in veg so i know if i can turn it around i can make it, just don't know if this is it or what??????????

can anyone tell me what went wrong? i mean it was like in hours they were brown curling and dying, the plant is still looking ok just loosing all the leaves to brown and curly death, like i said its in the new growth too…F@%* F@%* F@%* F@%* F@%* me did i blow it?????

is it lost, or will this pass, only to have wasted precious time recovering? or is this a worthless battle?

the white stuff on the tips is just safer spray from last night, never had a problem before could the spray cause me problems in the soil, it never has???? the water is always phed and every watering has been fine until today… HELP me i just need some positive feed back on this negative situation..

Nute burn normally starts at the tips and edges...Although I see salt buildup in a few of the pics. I also see white dots...check for bugs....what are your ppms at...how often are you feeding....kinda need more info

Bro....u know what u need to do. Flush flush and more flush to get rid of the toxicity in your medium if u think u have nutes burn. Ain't nothing to it but to do it and remember, only YOU can prevent forest fires.

so i have been feeding them every 4 days, we have had 105 degree days so i watered yesterday cause they looked ready(day 3), its been 105 for 7 days straight, i have been using, pure blend grow 3-1.5-4, botanicare cal mag 2-0-0, botanicare silica blast to get them going with no trouble, the ph was 6.0, recently i have been using age-old grow 12-6-6, i used a couple doses of age old promote 4-0-1, and cal mag2-0-0, again water has been at 6.0. they have been doing great, yesterday when i watered them as i said i had a left over bottle of pure blend and it got mixed in the barrel on accident, i didn't realize it was bloom till i was looking for a problem, could it have been the bloom formula that did this, were they not ready for it? also the white build up is actually safer spray preventative for mold rust and some bugs, i haven't used anything crazy and i have never seen this happen instantly like this, the water went to 2 plants and only one of them is fucked up bad the other is ok but burt here and there, the main plant has been burnt on all the bud sites leaves its just random all over, i immediately flushed them both with 20 gallons of water it seams to have stopped?
honestly i worked closely with a few growers over the years and the one tearm i still don't know how to calculate is my PPM's for my nutes? if it makes me sound like an idiot at least I'm being honest.

so after going over and over what could have happened, i think it was a fungicide spray that i sprayed on the leaves and the base of the stem, i barley hit the other one so that may be why it isn't as bad, I'm not 100% but this could be it? it hasn't continued this morning and i rinsed them again to be sure and cut away all the deadloss, i do have several bug issues thats why the plants are where they are, i have grown all over my yard this is the only spot i ever pull it off out side, i did a sour and pulled a LB off it just to the left of these!! hope this is over thanks for the quick responses

also learned the best way is to just put them in the ground, pots are a waste of time outside for me. i tried a 50 gal set up, didn't really make much of a difference???? thats life always next year

looks like mold like powdery mildew on your leaves. or your using some sketch hard water. i'd clean leaves with RO/ distilled water and a light soapy solution.

then

this was a freak thing that rinsed right out and then i spent time re-primining the soil and getting them back to where they needed to be, after another 3 weeks everything was looking perfect and just about to go into bud, suddenly the problem came back full force and even worse, i rinsed and rinsed as much as i could but this was a more permenent problem, i researched for days and came up with a variety of causes, at this point i pulled as much bad leaf as i could and left them to bud, they are budding ad making a come back but the damage is done, we will see what happens in the end then ill check the roots
