A newbie growing? Then Hydro is not for you. You need ppm(tds) meter, ph meter, pumps, air Stones, nutes, and to be calm as fuck when you go and slip over and over again causing your reservoirs to go ph up, ph down, ppm to high, ppm too low, root rot, adjust here, adjust there.
Stick with soil, yes it's slower a bit, it's also more forgiving, and when you go on a weekend bender, the girls are still alive when you get back.
Buy another 600w, and look into another 6" in line. She's older and probably keeps the house warmer as it is. You need to keep the inside of that tent 80° tops. If. You can get air cooled reflectors and use that one 6" to keep those lights cool, that will help the tent temp.
Use that other 6" to blow air out into the attic or out a window, but a window will make it look like a grow op if anyone is nosey. You will also need that carbon filter sooner then later, some strains and phenos are smelly, you don't wanna get caught jerking off when you get raided because you didn't think you needed the filter yet. Also, this means you need to either cut holes in the ceiling or hope there is an attic access in the closet.
Now you have 2 oscillating fans, 2 inline buzzing, 2 lights cracking or buzzing and your mom's going to hear. It's going to happen, but if you setup properly, show here that you have filters and everything in place then she might let you stay, and try not to let her know that if you get busted she might lose her house.
I just told you you need to spend another 500 in fans, venting, lights, and whatever else and your having a panic attack. You need to tell your mom because your setup is going to make noise. Fucking Relax, no need to be that guy that sees a cop driving down the street and you go out running after him saying I'm so sorry officer I didn't mean to grow lbs of weed in my mommies house it just happened.
People on here are doing this most often as a necessity or a love. Your paranoid and going to make mistakes, this isn't a get rich quick scheme. It's a learning curve and even people who do it for years are asking questions and trying to learn.
This is an art, you need to learn what the plant wants, and what works for you in your environment and humidity.
