Lately I have been doing my fair share of DMT. And I have to say that it has improved my life quite a bit.
My first break through of sorts happened when I did ayahuasca by myself. I made an acacia confusa/syrian rue brew and thought that I needed a life change. I have a medicine bundle because I recently became a certified medicine man protected under a native american church(that's a story for later) so I sat there in front of it with my bottle of ayahuasca and played with it for awhile because it was the first time I had ever used the bundle. I told the bottle what I wanted. I told it that I wanted to learn about compassion and how to express it more directly without feeling incredibly anxious.
It did just that. I laid on my couch and had a very intense experience for about 2 hours. When the noises and visions subsided, I was still in a very ecstatic state. I thought 'All I did was trip my balls off and think I was gonna die', but that's when the overwhelming sense of compassion came. I was directly shown that compassion is the most important thing in the universe and that I should cherish my friends and family. It showed me how to do it and I discovered that, that was the root of a lot of my problems. It also showed me things about addiction and how none of those are needed.
It was an epiphany. Everything made sense at the same time and I still have not forgotten a single bit of it. I ended up crying out of happiness on and off for 5 hours. And that is something that I honestly had never done. There was so much good emotion that it just.. Leaked out. And it was great.
I often hide my stress from myself I found out and never even know that I am stressed out when I am.
I had a few zits because of stress and it was very odd how when I woke up the next afternoon that they were almost gone completely.
Addiction wise, I had a benzo problem. Ever since that day, I haven't touched one. And I probably never will again.
I think it is very important to get in touch with DMT in both ayahuasca and smoke because.. It teaches you things. There is a huge love factor affiliated with it. Everything makes sense while you are on DMT and it is very direct and memorable.
I have found that it is important to have an intention before doing it and that I prefer doing it by myself. If not, I do enjoy going to the Santo Daime ceremonies that are conducted not too far away from me. There it is amazing. We will drink VERY powerful ayahuasca and ride kayaks or dance around a fire and laugh the whole time. Unless things get difficult. then it's time for fetal position. At least in my case. I love the fetal position.
Love it.
I had to give my father a bottle of ayahuasca because I knew that it would help even the oldest of people get through life. It shows you, yourself. And it also shows you everything else. There is not one thing that I can say has directly influenced my life in a better way. All of my social anxieties that I had before are now in the past and I am able to speak 'from my heart' which is.. Interesting. It has also helped me exponentially with music, work, life goals..
It is amazing and I highly suggest using it as an ally. It will help you and show you what you need to see. And the other things that it shows you are very interesting as well.
It is quite the learning experience and I can honestly say that I would not be the same person that I am right now, without it. And that is an extremely positive thing both for me, and others around me.
