Tent walls sucking in, intakes big enough ?

I filter both ends of my air leaving the grow tent. After 6 months I put a new filter inside and take the inside one outside.. the reverse direction gives it a longer life. I do not filter air coming in though.. you need a speed control on your fan, mine is set about 60% and still sucks in the sides a little.. I actually set my fan speed to the sucking in of the walls!

I see what you mean, no intake filtering , im looking for the more porous filters though like the ones on my pc, cant find them in the area and only on order now : /

My fan speed controller has 5 settings its currently on 1 & sucking in hard.

Sure Johnny ill just throw my tent away and order a new one, who says there's anything wrong with my tent ? U sure are no help.
"now the problem is my walls are still getting pretty sucked in & my DIY tent is taking some strain but might be able to survive"

You said there was something wrong with your tent buddy.

Might it be that the fabric of the tent canopy is a little too light? I'm no expert, just throwing an idea out there. Perhaps a sturdier material next time you do a DIY tent will cut down this effect. For now though, it seems that there are quite a lot of different PC fan filter options on Amazon. I'm sure you'd find something cheap either there or on ebay... http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...s=pc fan filter&sprefix=PC+fan+filter,aps,378

I said there is some strain on my tent, it doesnt mean my tent is completely broken and a new one is needed, i have two options i get more porous filters or i just secure the tent more, there's no need to go buy a completely new one, there's already alot of waste on this planet if you havent seen buddy.

Im using pvc plastic sheeting its perfectly fine, i actually like the suction in a way cause it flattens out any creases in the material but now i want to tame that suction down a little so i get more air flow i dont want it completely gone but yes like i mentioned better fan filters are the way to go, i know a few places who can order them for me i was however looking at some places today that had them in stock so i could go collect them this weekend, not really any need to order them off ebay i found some really good ones for like 5$ a piece locally but ill only receive them monday or tuesday if i order tomorrow, the thing is my seeds are in their pots & i wanna get them inside before they germinate but i just cant find anybody who has the filters in stock, shit maybe i should just take them out of my computer for the mean while while i get the new ones, just aching to get this tent going its taking way too much $ & time now ! Peace :peace:
