Grow attempt number 3 HPS

Hey guys this is going to be my third grow im going to be using 3 bag seeds i found that are currently germing under a 150hps with 125watts of cfl sidelight once they get bigger im going to use MG superbloom soil with some added perlite for drainage since it doesnt drain that well by itself im also going to use organic Alaska fish fert once they are about 2 weeks old it calls for 1tsp per quart . Im going to plant the seeds in a 32oz foam cup cut in half then transplant into 2 gal pots to finish out in . If there are any questions or anything i left out please let me know :) thanks guys

I already know bro lol i HIGHLY doubt ill get 3 females from my bag seeds let alone 1 . Im waiting on my nirvana auto fems to come in i just need something to do till then lol . & yea your right about the nutes im still a super noob amateur bro but i figured since im feeding it organic fish fert that it wouldnt effect them or cause nute burn i might be wrong tho .

preciate it bro :) seeds arent that hard to come by since i barely have money for kush now a days lol all i have to do is buy a dime and ill get 5 seeds . I just wanted some really good bud and to try out autos, im just trying to supply MYSELF with weed so i dont have to buy it anymore idc how i do it autos,bagseeds,clones whatever it takes im tired of buying shit lol . Plus growing helps a TON with my anxiety

With that MG just run a gallon of water thru it to rinse it a bit...the added nutes last about 3 months so be careful when adding new nutes...I would wait about 5 weeks before adding anymore.

Good luck dude. as mos said watch out with the MG. I started my first grow thinking meh it wont be that bad. but it sure did show alot of signs of overfert with that crap. a good heavy flush will wash it out alot tho too.

I pull off 2 plants per 100w of CFL, so maybe he can get 3 in a 150w HPS. Depends what his footprint and canopy looks like. He wouldn't get much penetration, that's for sure :mrgreen:

Bagseed and miracle grow will be good practice. Id suggest happy frog when you invest on some better genetics. I grew some nice Nirvana Bubblicious by the way. Good strain but cant touch the OG Kush I have finishing now. I think that light is sufficient for 2 girls tops.

Completely with you on not wanting to buy anymore. That and like you mentioned the therapeuticness of growing are just a couple of the many reasons why we grow

Ahhhh... I remember using MG......

Don't add any food to your water until the plant ask's for it!!!!!! There is plenty already and like already said, replace it with some quality soil next round.

You will have tip burn and maybe some marginal burning on this one most likely so learn from it. Water Water Water......
