Obama the Messiah

McCain just flip-flopped on his promise of no new taxes. I'm not surprised, as I don't see any way around higher taxes for at least some people. When you have a 9 trillion dollar debt, you have to raise income somehow, or let the interest payments build and grind you into dust. The surprising thing is that he ever promised no new taxes in the first place. It was an untenable position to take. Paying off debts takes income. Paying off historically monumental debts takes *lots* of income. It's gotta come from somewhere. Not being rich, I prefer that it come from rich folks, and it seems Obama agrees, and even McCain is coming around to that position now. He's just a little slow figuring stuff out, McCain is.

Not being Baptist, I prefer that it come from Baptist folks.......

Same difference, no?

It aint so. I predict Obama by ten+ points, if the elections aren't rigged.
It is so. You simply cannot fathom it because to you, Obama can do no wrong.

Does this mean that only a solid Obama victory in November will be the result of a clean election? If McCain wins, the election will be stolen?

bullshit...
It's true. Lower taxes frees up more capital to be spent or invested. Either way, the economy improves and the increased business activity is reflected in higher tax revenues. It's historical.

What is bullshit is the notion that a society can tax itself into prosperity.

Come on johnny, everytime the repukes do a huge tax giveaway to the rich, the only economy that grows are the wealthy's economy. Remember trickle down. that was a real bright Idea. about like Bush's giveaway to the top 3%, billions that helped no-one but them, and put our budget in the deep dodo. Yeah the poor got 300.00, about enough fpr a couple a tanks of gas, whoopee, I almost pissed myself when my rebate check came, couldn't figure out how I'd ever spend all that.

And there you have it, ladies and gents ... a typical reaction and mindset from a typical fascist. There is no such thing as a tax "giveaway." The government has no money that it hasn't taken away by force in the first place. So a tax cut is not a giveaway, its just the government not taking away what it was previously taking away. In other words, a tax cut is a step backward in totalitarianism for the government and a step forward toward liberty for the citizen.

Wake up, Med. Your thinking is dangerous.
