Does anyone know the exact name of the plant? Also do they sell the seeds at regular plant stores like Home Depots'?

Papaver somniferum is the poppy you want. You can find the seeds at a grocery store actually, McCormick sells the seeds as seasoning. I haven't sprouted them yet but I hear they are viable

I think its papaver somniferum. I believe some regular spice poppy seeds contain them. Yes, they will grow.

Haha its called the "opium" poppy for a reason and no they don't sell opium poppy seeds at home depot. You can buy them online pretty easily but manufacture of heroin is kind of looked down on
They are pretty flowers though

Just grow a few you scrape it off when the seed pods form its really sticky. It kinda just sedates and numbs you heavily and it is also highly addictive. You have probably already tried it in one form or another from your doctor or dentist. Effective pain killer and sedative but the side effects are nasty. That is why so many people are finding relief with MMJ they can use MUCH less opiate derived pain killers.

It is sad dude you should seriously look into addictions treatment. This is a website about growing a fairly harmless plant. I hate to see people go down your path so the propaganda machine can feed you into the anti-pot side and spit you out on the other side as another victim of this "gateway" drug. I know you are not going to listen but I have seen a lot of people die and worse from their drug use. Either way drop me a line when you hit bottom or wnd up in jail

I had a drug class in highschool, part of gym class that year. It was cool cause our coach was obviously more informed than the text book. And I did very well in that class
