Well I Finished my light, now I just need to find some solo cups. All the stores in my town only carry the jumbo square solo cups rather than the 16oz version.... Walmart has the heavy duty 16oz version, but it's $2 per cup.... ugh.

its some grade A genes so y'all bring ur best you hear..
even with these genes i am worried about a few skill and gene wise..but eh im in it for the art of growing under a challenge win or loose.

Question about the rules once more. Are we allowed to build a mini flood and drain or recirculating system out of the solo cups? Or is it limited to a DWC? Just out of curiosity more than anything really.

i thought the same but i think the answer would remain the same.. as long as no roots are out the cup..
for simplicity i take the answer would be no?

I have a love/hate relationship with the bottom of your cup, that is an awesome pattern and the precision really rubs my OCD the right way, but won't it be a fucking nightmare trying to keep the roots from coming out the bottom?

nah there right below the light so any roots that come out get fried within hours and if not ill make sure to trim those off at first sight, no cheating here

when roots are exposed to the air and there's no or little humidity around those roots they naturally air prune. So having to cut them off is unnecessary. Makes it very difficult to cheat like that. Unless cup rests in a resi or on top of soil.

I like watching everyone getting all worked up over the root rule. You guys do understand it came about mainly because of the hydro competitors right? So someone isn't using their solo cup as a net cup in a DWC for example. You guys worrying about roots growing out of soil cups must live in some humid areas if they don't air prune themselves there.

I got those at the kush cup. It was them or socal seeds but I saw a number of negative reviews for socal. I couldn't find much info on laplata labs but they looked worth trying. I only popped 3 so far and all males so will try again when I'm done flowering current run. I also have la plata Quin n tonic cbd going right now and they look good. Both are females. Wasn't much choices at the kush cup.
