Eh, @hyroot -- a lot of ppl didnt drop out due to it being a dictatorship last round. Ppl dropped out cuz they couldn't read & follow the rules that were laid out. The moderator of the comp can be passive or not, and thats just their personalities shining through...contestants vote on whats important, anyway...who wins.

Yup...My 4 cups represent 4 of my 5 representatives and then I'm going to pick the best one of the 167 others as my official submission

here's my first update they officially are germed today. 2/24

3 hempy with perlite - 2 white nightmare, 1 cappy.

1 hempy with coco - Kane

1 super coco (cootz) - sweets

the hempy's will be fed with teas, crab meal, neem meal, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, aloe.

super coco has same nutes plus oyster shell flour and rock dust and vermicompost.

perlite hempy's also have clay, rock dust, oyster shell flour.

lighting is a 100w led from amaretech. In veg mode now pulling 50 watts.

hopefully they'll break surface by the end of the month. Takes longer with 12/12.







I decided on organic hempy's just from what I've seen @SomeGuy has done with the same method.

Notification for FrozenChozen from Hot Diggity Sog

My declaration for this contest included me using my Metal Halide bulb for the entire duration. The bulb I was using was the Eye Hortilux Blue - a $120 bulb. This bulb died on me about a week ago and I went ahead and ordered a new one which arrived DOA yesterday. I've been using a cheapo MH bulb while I waited for the replacement. Because this cheapo MH bulb is not fit for the task I will be switching to a HPS bulb starting today and will run the HPS from now until the end. Because the rules clearly state no bulb changes, I will understand if you choose to DQ me. I wanted to explain the situation and the reason for the change so I will await your ruling.
