BEST 600W HSP

What is the best HSP 600W bulb I can buy. Not just most expensive but the best for flowering heavy buds. Got a 4x3x6 closet. Right now I'm using SolarMax.

I like Ultra Sun. They are a middle of the road grow bulb, but pretty powerful imo. There's probably better bulbs I'm sure, but I like the slim look of the Ultra Sun bulbs.

I use an open reflector, so I like slim bulbs. my father uses GE bulbs and they are a bit too bulbus for me. They work great with his closed reflector tho

I have always used the Eye Hortilux bulbs for both veg and flower. Buying one bulb is nice even if they are expensive.

How does it do with flowering? I mean do they split the red and blue spectrum of light so you only get half and half or do I need supplemental red spectrum light to go along with it?

It is an enhanced HPS bulb. If anything, it is lacking blue (veg) light to some degree, not red.

Using a HPS bulb during veg may give your plants a greater tendency to stretch or be lanky. It works though but your plants need a healthy dose of blue spectrum, especially during veg. It helps them stay shorter and bushier.
