yeah and this is after "opting" for the "safer cars"..

okay all of you in favor of de-regulation in the US?

this is no regulatory..now you know why regulation is required.

it's because someone, somewhere did some really negative shit or negative shit occurred as a result of negligence or abusive practices.

there is a method than can be used prior ship to "lessen" the chances of this happening..it used to be done..but is no longer because of "time" constraints.

boo fucking hoo!!!!

FTW: there are no time constraints on a lost shipment, that blew up and burned for 4 days.

REGULATE THIS SHIT ALREADY!!!

many people have railroad tracks much closer to their homes..people will eventually be killed because of human negligence.

BIG OIL LOBBY, YOU BITE IT!!!:finger:

You think the railway isn't regulated?
I have a bridge to sell you.

When does the Keystone pipeline advertising on the back of this begin?

Look at how dangerous and inefficient rail transport is, and how it displaces the delivery of durable goods, like Guatemalan cantaloupes and Fiat Pandas...
Vote YES on Keystone. Vote YES on Jobs.
Vote YES because baby eagles, 'Murica and deep-fried chicken apple-pie waffle biscuits'n'gravy...FREEDOM!

railway is regulated.

it's something about the oil cars that is not regulated..a procedure used to be done to lessen pressure within?

can't recall the actual name of procedure.

but your thread questioning?..maybe you should be listening instead of mocking.

I actually thought about baseball, too. But is it still synonymous with "'Murica Freedom"™ in the 21st century?
At this week's Illuminatus Anonymous meeting, held at the Cheney/Koch Happy Peace Funtime memorial bunker under Denver airport, we were told to use only current memes in the 'Murica Freedom™ propaganda campaign. Your point about Chevy has been duly noted, and future propaganda will be adjusted to reflect your valuable input. Thank you for your participation in our program.

VOTE YES on Keystone...or else you'll make Jesus weep.

No.

Bad things happen when you have 16,000 tons moving 50MPH on two pieces of steel ribbon.

this is my all time favorite, though..when this came out it gave me goosebumps and still does! wonder if there is a ring tone? link anyone?

Didn't you write a book about the Rosicrucians?

correct especially when they've STOPPED doing things to insure safety and make a point..not all americans are stupid.
What things have they stopped doing to ensure safety?
How do you ensure someone doesn't try to outrun the train through the intersection?
What you are implying is that there are no such thing as accidents.

i'd like to say..WTF happened to us? but the answer is simple..greed.

the ability to have 10 houses instead of 8, bigger plane and larger yacht?

so much money amassed that it would be impossible to spend in that person's lifetime or 10 of their lifetimes.

can't take it with you!:spew:

RM explains it in detail..it's 20 minutes and posted this thread.

if you refuse to invest your time..i can't help you.

i've got fucking algebra to do and i'm way behind.
