They look droopy because I let them sit out a tad longer just for bug prevention, the strawberry blue perked up within 20min its crazy.

@DirtyNerd I used Calimagic my last two watering to catch up, the tops look greener now. Should I be using it every other watering? I dont want to cause a problem, so I want to tailor my nutrients while they look good.

Dyna gro protekt (foliage pro, using that on a smaller non flowering plant to try it out.)

Every other watering sounds like a good plan as it will still be in your soil are you using RO water or Tap water.....?
If Tap water i shouldn't need it at all because at high levels of Cal-mag you will lock out other nutrients so make sure you don't over do it that's why i think every 2nd watering would be good

I am having a Calcium Deficiency at the moment with one of my plants i have been doing lots of reading about it as i have always used tap water and never needed to use Cal-mag the odd thing is all the other plants are fine but i have been reading for your plant to uptake the Calcium it needs the PH 6+ and because i have running my PH a little low that might be the reason so i up the PH today as it's better to be higher in flower anyway

No its ok man, been so bored waiting to get money together for another tent to start coco or organic. You have any expertise in coco? I was going to get house and garden coco and their nutrients. Your bubblegum looks amazing, cant wait for plants like that. Thanks for taking a look, it helps a lot.

I was using bottled water but changed to tap wster this last time cuz after I add dyna gro protekt my ph is about 6.6 and I like that. I want to be able to add ph up and down, to know edactly whats up you know.

Hey bro yeah the bubblegum is the best plant I have ever grown that's why I have been growing her for over a year now great smoke amazing flowering time packs on weight like crazy in a week or two I'll need to support all her colas or she will try lay down she's a plant I'll always keep around

Also when it comes to coco it's the only thing I have ever grown in its great faster growth rate then soil and still gives you time to fix things if you over or under feed

It's very easy to use and you just treat it like hydro I do a mix and put 50% perlite and 50% coco normally this time I tried with less perlite and only added around 25-30% find its a great mix

And running to waste works best with coco and when watering a good 10%+ run off will help from any build up also unlike soil that can be over water as long as you have good drainage you can't over water coco so that's a good plus H&G do great nutrients very easy to follow grow system

I am sure ones you finish this one off and change to coco you will never look back but then again what works for others doesn't always work for some but never hurts to try new things

Anyways, my inline fan and scrubber from walmart (they go through another company for it) was supposed to be here yesterday after I waited 13 days..only to hage them email me the day of saying theyre out of stock and I CAN REORDER ON MAY 8th and wait another two weeks. Then they were short with me and said they cant do anythint about it.

Im buying another one but **Are DIY carbon filters legit?


Ill show picture when I get home but one afghan kush is male I believe. It has no hairs and groups of little circles, Im glad cuz I need room anyway! Im very happy with the plants health, I just dont want to do something wrong. I know most people learn from screwing up, but if anyone could go through the items I have and items I should get for my nute regiment Id really appreciate it.

With this hydrofarm inline fan, it comes with speed controller as well.
I have 100$ card to Walmart so that must be used on either the fan or filter. Then 75$ or so cash, this is what I came up with. Can the two brands go together?

I find carbon is carbon mate, both homemade and store bought will work as long as you take the time to dial in your fan speeds so the air isn't rushing over the carbon too quick.
Even if you use a small amount of carbon in a stocking on the end of a duct it'll work, just for less time than a full sized store bought one so you have to change it frequently.
Really it comes down to size of your grow, practicality, cost... etc.

Few questions..

1. Should I be defoliating at all? The bottom of peoples plants seem to be defoliated, I have a harder time watering my Strawberry Blue because its leaves are so low.

2. What routines do you guys have, biweekly pest prevention? Foliar spray? Anything else I should be doing?

My system is simple..I am slowly upping A + B

Every feeding - A + B, drip clean, root excelurator, protekt

Calimagic every other, but Im making alot of tap water now. What should I look for to
prevent Cal\mag deficiency?

Photosynthesis Plus every other for now.
Golden Molasses every other, does it have to be blackstrap?

A&B, drip, roots (stop after week 4), ProTek 1/2 strength every other feeding (stop after week 5). Please don't use top booster. It fucked my leaves up for years till i realized that top booster was the cause. I didn't really look at the others ill check now.

I lollypop all my plants, basically anything that doesn't have direct access to light is gone. It helps with pests, improves air flow and saves your plant a lot of energy that would normally be wasted on popcorn buds. I'll normally do this at week 2 or 3 when the stretch settles down.

2 things that I can't stress enough that took me forever to learn.
1. Flush out all the old nutes with as low ppm water you can find every 2nd watering, then start again.
2. Rotate and inspect the garden as often as possible.

And I've always just gone with "organic" black strap from a health food store

Bloody nice grow so far aswell mate, keep us posted!

Everything is going fine, hard to take pics with hps on then dark period right after.

One thing is, one afghani tips are curling a little. House and garden people say to always feed, so I do with lower mL per gallon. I use the drip clean, but still going to do pure water every other or so I think.

@a mongo frog you use HG whats your opinion?
