Is it too late?

Hi guys, so I've just germinated 4 seeds. I got about 30 out of a quarter I bought, and these are the only 4 that have germinated. Im planning on transferring them outdoors in about 5-6 days... It's May 6th. I live in maine, so mid to late october we will have our first frost Any help would be appreciated as I have no clue what I'm doing...

No matter what time you put them out side, they will still finish the same time. They most likely would be fine to put outside right now but if you want to be safe, wait until may 15th-june 1st. What strain did you get? That will more determine when they will be done.

Well, I actually dont know the strain... I got them out of a baggie, and its 8 seedlings total now!!! 3 in the same cup... Oops. But in the next 11 days i should be getting 3 pineapple kush seeds and 3 purple haze seeds.

Well bag seeds I'm going to assume are on the sativa side. Most stuff that comes out of mexico is. Sativas take longer to flower generally.

Wherever you put them, if they end up indica they should make it by October. The cooler temps towards the end might even help if it is almost done by then.

not saying it isn't sativa...but I haven't seen a bag of Mexican in Maine in the last 5yrs or so...that being said start your pineapple and purple(bread n butter fems) and use the bag plants(which youll have to cull the males) to make up the difference to get your plant count(6 assuming your medical) if you are a patient and than consider ordering some autoflowers and put 6 of those out as well(patients are allowed 12 plants over a foot tall or wide but only 6 may be FLOWERING)

Its still very possible! He'll know in October when she needs 3 more months of flower lol

I would sperate those 3 seedlings in one cup now, before the roots tangle. You can just gently dump the soil out of the cup and fish out each seedling. At this point they should
just have the single taproot and be easy to separate.

The most important thing IMO when growing outdoors is root space. An indoor plant is fine in a small pot but outdoors the heat and sun will dry out a small pot in no time. When the seedlings have grown as wide as the cup they are in, I would transplant into the ground or a larger pot. In general a plant will grow as wide as the pot
you put it in, so the bigger the root mass the bigger the yield. I wouldn't go any smaller than 15-20 gallons of soil per plant.
