Im a newbie at growing but id like to get some opinions from you guys, currently i have an indoor grow thats on its 28th day, i have a simple set up, with a 100 watt equivalent cfl on a 18 to 6 light cycle, the plants seem to be doing really well but one of them is starting get yellow tips and yellow spots, I carefully removed the plant from the soil and cleared the roots there was chuncks of soil on the roots, i was wondering if theres anything else i should do? I havent used any fertilizer, but i started off with black gold all purpose potting soil

you might want to stop misting them or whatever you're doing to get the droplets on the leaves like that because it can act as a magnifying glass and burn your leaves, other than that one spot in the second picture under the drop of water it doesn't look like you have too much nute burn or anything...

Bro they look fine... The only issue I see here is why its 30 days old and looks like its 2 weeks... Do you have any air ventilation? oscillating fans?? And yes, please stop misting your plants... That is very unnecessary unless its sick or, is a clone... How big is the area your growing in? Id add some more lighting if your going cfl... get like 300 watts at the least... Also, leave them on 24/7... they are cfl... you need the most you can get outa them... Not to mention... they are CFL's lol! Super cheap to run....

Yes i have a 6" fan blowing air in, my grow area is a 4x4 closet and about 7 or 8 feet high, i took your advice and stopped misting the plant and turned the light on 24/7 its getting alot better but not really taller i have the light about a foot above the plant, it's doesn't seem like the plant is being restricted to grow, i was wonder maybe if this could be some sort of lowrider possibly? I'll upload some pics of the progress

Haha couldn't help myself

but yeah its looking good buddy don't worry about it being so compact if anything thats a good thing, and it'll stretch out later, you might actually want to replant that so that the stem is further under the soil. Also just wondering have you got just a regular fan pointing at the plant? Because if you don't the stem will be too thin when it gets older and grows buds and the plant will collapse

Heres a link for how to replant it if your wanting to go down that route https://www.rollitup.org/t/replant-those-long-stretchy-stems-its-easy.429767/
