heat in basement

I have a room i built in my basement with a window a/c mount in the wall but not its get warmer outside and in the basement cause its exhaust out in the basement what should i do too vent out the hot from the a/c? I was think of using a 4"inline with carbon filter to vent out hot air and the worry of order. An hoping it with help the a/c run better also..

Well its a window A/C it should be in a window.... hot temps can be taken care of real good with a air cooled reflector thats all I need to do in the summer is hook the ducting back up. :bigjoint:

I dont do air cooled hood you lose light on that.. an no shit their a gor windows it fine during winter but not summer room is cool but not cool enough.. about 85° but thanks for the none help on my question.. open hood is better for yeildz trust me

I'm sorry I questioned the grand master I lost so much yield lol not, but some are better than others. but good luck you can buy a grow room A/C but unless you can cut a hole in your wall to insert the A/C your pretty much fucked. :bigjoint:

U obviously dont get what im saying it is in the wall in a room in the basement just trying to suck the hot air out the basement thru a window and was asking if a 4" inline with filter would work.. thanks for being a ass.. what are u getting 2 oz a plant grand master?

I'd go with an 8-10 inch fan, theu can warm up and indoor room rather quick.

Air cooled hoods dont loose very much yield if any at all. Not enough to make them not worth using. Getting 2-2.25# per light with air cooled.
