One another design note..
Anyone thats used these cobs probably knows the beam is really strong in the middle at a somewhat narrow angle. Will be giving these angelina lens inserts a try. The thinking is it will even out the beam intensity before leaving the reflector.
They were available at mouser so I just ordered a few to test with this light

This is what the ends will look like for now. The hangers are ugly but functional. 4" L brackets screwed right into the t- slot, didn't even need to drill a hole. Screened the ends to keep fingers out and to hold the ac inlet
