Ive taken care of purple in non purple strains by adding more phosphorus.

Undersides of tomato plant leaves, and the veins and stems, may turn purple. stiff, stunted plants with purlish tinge.
They might be growing alright but if its happening to multiple strains i would have to assume its lacking something. Are you using new or recycled soil? Are you wattering with a bunch of run off almost flushing the soil?
It could just be the strain but when you say its across 12 strains i have to assume a lack of something.
Can you tell which one is "purple"?
