im not into arguing it either.... shoot a pic on the board of your grows up id like to see them ..I think its because they already amended the acidic soil with lime to match the water they will be feeding. For example, fox farms ocean forest will never get PH lockout unless
If it helps any, i water with a ph of 8 (hawaiian tap) and never had any lockouts since. I will not post links or argue, because it really comes down to knowing you're soil. Nothing wrong with PH'ing the water if the soil cant buffer it. Careful though, more microlife = more acidic soil = ph cant climb back up in time because the water was PHe"d down (asuming the micro-life didnt get cooked by h202/synthetics)
his leaves are curling from the edges not tacoing.. its happening because he's in hot soils and he's feeding on top of it. .Good luck with the grow! Did you're leaves taco up like that in the 88f temps?
and i wasn't in anyway talking about lock outs occurring..If it helps any, i water with a ph of 8 (hawaiian tap) and never had any lockouts since. Careful though, more microlife = more acidic soil = ph cant climb back up in time because the water was PHe"d down (asuming the micro-life didnt get cooked by h202/synthetics) its a game of tug-o-war when ball parking the water to match the soil. If the soil isnt buffered enough then yes, you should ph or get true organic soil made for MJ. There is no short answer to a quick question like that except for using 6.8 ph balanced soil and water that isnt more then 2 points off. If lockout still exist, something is wrong with the soil (dead/defective) or water.
They have been inside but were originally in a smaller closet that got up to 88. That was 5 days ago. Now they are sitting at a cool 75Good luck with the grow! Did you're leaves taco up like that in the 88f temps?
SPL.... i just realized your name you keep saltwater reefs?Good luck with the grow! Did you're leaves taco up like that in the 88f temps?
Phil no,i do not collect ocean coral its actually illegal to take them from beaches out here, i am an avid night diver though. im a DC electrical engineer, i build pwm/ic/hc/data boards for a living. I dont mind showing you my grows but i will have to private message them to you when i get home from work. I just got into organics about a year ago, i was PH crazy to begin with because i started with synthetics and always had lockouts due to salt build ups (noob mistake). Then had simular issues in organic soil untill i figured out PH down was screwing up the microherd in the soil(i used alot to bring 8 to 5.5 that gave me a run-off of 6.8-7.2) , thats when i stopped.SPL.... i just realized your name you keep saltwater reefs?
