3 days of dark before harvest does it work?

Im still pretty inexperienced in the grand scheme of things, but I would think boiling the roots a few days before harvest would work better than leaving the girls in the dark. Who know though, give it a shot and see how it works for you. What have you got to lose?

Give you plants in the last week or so ...some much needed UV,
even common sunlight is good, the UV does wonders to those trics,
stay at 12x12, then like Jesus ^^^
above harvest in the morning for maximum return ..

ps theres human logic, often wrong, then theres the plant, it does its thing anyway
for this reason treat your plants like a dog...cat...or even as a gold fish ...its alive!
a sentient being? ...human logic will fuck it up

Nice...! a blast of UV will further brown those leaves, do they feel like pets to you...?

yeah definitely gotten attached... Do I want the leaves to brown more? I thought they looked like shit .and do I just toss them outside for 12 a day till they're done? In direct sun I'm guessing

How you feel about all this is vital to your grow success, unfortunately falling leaves is the biz we are in, ask any Canadian about his flag is the same,
see fallen leaves as expired burger wrappings, just so long as it happens close to harvest, and not in veg, is normal ...you are doing well!

Actually , the only benefit I have gotten from 24 hour dark is that you can chop ANYTIME during the day because plant still believes that the light will be coming BUT you pull her out and cut her fuckin head off. This allows me to cut plants anytime instead of
cutting at " o dark thirty ".

I read that it makes the plant think it's dying so it works harder to produce and fatten buds
its suppose to trick the plant into thinking it needs to create bigger thc glands. doesnt make it fatter or denser. i heard the study/ experiment showed up to a 30%increase in THC however no increase in CBD. theres actually a lot of well known people to have done this study many universities as well and all found to be true. they also found that leaving the plants in anymore time later than 2-3 days is pointless. but im no genius look it up for yourself. i am however going to do the experiment on my own im harvesting in 2 weeks and cant wait to see the difference. interested in seeing the results

You put it in the dark when you feel your plant is ready to chop, the idea being amber/cloudy trichs that have finished producing won't degrade from your grow lights and let the trichs that haven't matured yet to do so.... does it work? Well yes, but its not all that noticeable.. dooooo it!
Thats all

Thats interesting at best we could be looking at 5-10% increase in THC for 3 days effort, of keeping them in the dark, but leaving them 12x12 with UV, for the same 3 days would do the same and some more, another 25-35% increase perhaps, but at the risk of loosing color to amber couch lock zone? which is my preference anyway
