3 inda gro 420's. 2 pontoons. And 8 cobs is 1740 watts over a 12 x 5.

3 cmh and 8 cobs over another 12x5. Would be 1375 watts.

3100 watts to cover the same area as 6 1000w's
6 1000 watts? I cover my 12x5 with 1 1000watt light and a 7ft light mover.

I thought you were referring to 3 cmh and the cobs over a 5x5

Trying. It's been one small expansion every few batches since I started over. If you remember I was doing a 4x4 with 2 t5's. 2 year's ago. I'm trying to still fill up a 12x12. I'm a little more than half way there.

I've helped a couple other people build lights. Just not.my own.yet. I got help from Supra , Greenenes and mostly SomeGuy when i jad trouble figirong shit out. Got it down for the most part now. So I'm pretty confident. I'm just going to use the Arctic alpines on a rack. 2 cobs per rack. Nothing to gnarly or fancy. I have tons of experience soldering already from school and other jobs. I've had. I've built my own vu meter a couple times too.

Light movers suck. If you have any darks spots when the light moves. Your yield will suffer quite a bit. I do have experience running movers with 1000w and 600's I prefer my lights to be stationary..
I hear ya, and i had some trouble with it at first. But now a yr and a half later my last run i pulled 63oz of blue OG from my set up and the hole room lights, mover, fans, ect, only pulls 19amps. Ever one likes there own set up and style of growing. stay happy healthy and high

Ive been debating using light movers. Simply for more angles rather than increasing coverage.

Doesn't it take weeks to get cobs from china?
10 days from jerry using china post. I think its within a day or two if you use the Dahl shipping option. Ive never used the dhl option though since it costs almost as much as another 3590's and I'd rather have the cob

Idk about other vendors. Its hit or miss.

Which Strain?
It's my first cup so help me decide which seeds will give me a chance of finishing..... and maybe even yielding some buds.

Flower times are what the breeder lists. My plants on average take 3 weeks longer. I'm leaning toward the Afghani. They were freebies, but more importantly they seem to fit the bill from what I've read. Although purple diesel may be pretty enough to catch a few eyes.
  • Ewe-2 fem.(HSO) Indica dom, 52 day flower
  • Afghani reg (Herbie's freebies - supposed to be close to Afghani #1 from Sensi), 95% Indica, 45 day flower
  • Original White Widow fem (paradise). 50% Indica 50% Sativa, 60 day flower
  • Nebula fem (paradise). Mostly Sativa 60-65 day flower
  • purple Diesel (Cali) 60-68 day flower
Thanks!

Zo

If you go back to the first post they did answer about longer flowering plants. the one im going to run takes 65 days. just germ them on day 1 and you should be fine. And i have the same Afghani freebie from herbies and i would go with something else if you can. And good luck
