I remember seeing posts on RIU of people growing ganja from day one to harvest in a party cup.. I just need some headers on how that is possible !!!!! They stayed super small & Produced very little bud.. but I found that so extremely awesome & if I could have many of them I could end up harvesting at least 14 g's to an oz ..?
So.. yeah, if any of you got XP or know anyting bout dis , DO SHARE INFO THANKS yallllllllllll:bigjoint:

That's still pretty cool... any idea help on how I can make it happen ???????
it is definitely possible, its called compact cultivation and requires trimming of the plant and root system itself. you want to trim the plant down to 4 side shoots optimally and and whenever the stems start to form a cup like shape to produce another stem you cut it ultimately creating a bonzai form. trim folliage as well...

...as for the roots it is easier to grow in a small cube than a party cup a because it is easier to trim the roots coming out of a square shape rather a cylindrical shape and it includes trimming around 1" off all around and changing your potting compost.

I'm not sure I get this part... what difference does it make that it is round or square.. if the roots stick out from under it's only from the holes amirite?

square : more volume then a same size cylinder and btw if you get caught growing one plant in a party cup you'll have the same consequences than if you've grown out of a 10 gal pot just sayin...

How many plants is irrelevant.
The 1/8 plant was prolly 12" the 2oz was about 40"

Size of the pots is also fairly irrelevant. It doesnt really change anything, you can easily negate the effects of being "root bound" as we call it.. ive pulled 2oz out large party cups, so top heavy they will fall over without aid

What are you trying to do?

check my sig ,I grow in 1g rectangular pot ,lots of pics and you can see how stretching has evolved....

I didn't do any root trimming ,I only kept the light as close as possible at all times.

a rule of thumb is that during flowering the plant will stretch at least 2x more of its veg height.
Is height a concern for you? or width of the grow space?
what kind of seeds? Autos or Photos?

Sorry qwizoking ,I had thought that u were the OP.

Sorry for late answers....... I'm planning on having enough of them to have AT LEAST 14G-1OZ, so like, many but I will let them veg til like 2nd nodes and then turn to flower... sounds good?
Height & width is a concern for me... I really need em to be fuckin TINY as fuck. . .My seeds are mostly feminized & none autos

How do you negate the effects of being root bound? Because I thought having a small pot or big pot allows moisture to either stay longer or drain quicker... amirite?.. not so irrelevant to me..

I was afraid of that too.....in my case I've grown a dwarf strain (SS#1 ) ,and used a 1 gallon pot.
I didn't take a look at the roots yet ,but I will harvest in a couple of days and take a pic of the root mass ,I'm also curious about what happened down there.

Plant a seed in a party cup. Put on 12/12 light cycle. Then keep the plant as healthy as possible until harvest. It can actually be a good learning experience when it comes to reading and feeding plants.
