does winterization remove butane?

After a water bath and initial purge would an ever clear winterization help in removing any excess butane or is that trapped until I vac purge? Thanks in advance for any input

No, it won't. Winterizing helps to separate any waxes, but it ain't going to remove a solvent.

It is my understanding that whatever minuscule amount of butane left over in the finished product will combust upon contact with the heating element.
