Genetics: PlushBerry² - this is a homebrew IBL, using the (now discontinued) PlushBerry Line from TGA. I mated the frost-fest, kushy leaning pheno with the pink coloured, cherry tasting pheno, and these are the offspring.
Medium: my own mix - super soil
Nutrients: GO Organics, water.
Tech: The good
@captainmorgan ran the upsidedown cups a couple of comps ago, and did pretty well with his, so I decided to pay homage to his tight setup, with a topsy turvy cup of my own. I epoxyed thick window screen on the bottoms of the cups, and cut a hole out of the top (bottom), as seen in the pictures.
Lighting: I've got a few different lights in my tent, but these are going to be living under my cheap Apollo8 LED, with a 46W T5 on the side, sort of half hitting them. I used my XPS last round, and decided to switch it up this time.
Notes: Got the cups at Wallymart...they were on sale, even. Bonus scuba. I'm good to go for the next few comps now. Holy shiite, the seeds had hard shells, and took forever to crack. I used the paper towel method to sprout the seeds. Granted, my room was a bit on the cooler side, and that could have contributed to the slower popping of a couple. As you can see by the dates on the cups, the one popped and was in dirt 4 days before the others. I was beginning to wonder if they were duds, but persevered, and they finally popped their heads above soil today. Since all 3 of my seeds popped, I'm going to play with these ones only, and hedge my bets on these horses. Hopefully I'll find one fem in the lot.
