bleach?
yes, 1 tsp (about 5ml) per 5 gallons. My first dose was 3 tsp in 5 gal and I only noticed one ill effect on one plant, which could have been the root disease still. Been going for a week after literally trying everything else, and it appears to be working.bleach?
I dont mind crazy go ahead!! Im using canna coco a and b, rhizotonic,.and cannazym which i hear helps prevent and deals with root rot... i do think ive overwatered to the point of lock out.. the picture i showed was from a baby,.but when i transplanted the roots were nice and white and formed a nice strong root ball that held the coco amd perlite togetherLol going online is like going on webmd, you will think you have everything there is.
What ferts do you use and what strenght? Your root pictures dont look as bad as mine, but I dont think they are healthy either. It could just be as simple as overwatering, smaller pots will help with that. If it its pythium, I do have a "break glass in emergency cure" that I started last week and has actually been doing wonders, but everyone will think Im crazy.

Im just hoping its not as complicated as root rot and this thing that ive had every grow is just a mag def, my plants have had it before and they always seem.to pull through like on these pics.. the last ones like 5 weeks into flower and the first one is the first week of flower, this is when the def seems to go.. i got like 56 oz off 10 plants under 3 x 600 w.. first grow i ever did.. i was really pleased with that one, need to find out what i did right lolLol, well I answered "the crazy" talking with daloudpack. Bleach will kill any microbe in your system good or bad and wont hurt your plant at appropriate levels. Its also cheaper and more effective than adding beneficial bacteria and enzymes to your grow if you are in a hydro/coco. I mix it at 5ml to 10ml per 5 gal container and it is working great. It disipates from your system in 12 to 24 hours so you need to reapply, but one application kills pretty much everything in 20 minutes. Bleach is better than H202 also, its more stable, less plant harmfull, and more bacteria toxic. .
The enzymes like canazyme/hydrozyme/sensizyme just dont work like you want them to and they are expensive. Benificial bacterias in hydro can actually create a microbe rich environment that overtimes benefits the pythium and the source of some of the beni's is also suspect, in my opinion. The only benificial product I found that ever seem to really work was Actinovate, and even that was just a limping along.
If you think youve over watered then let it dry out, but coco is really hard to over water with. Also feed at 1/2 to 1/4 strength for smaller plants. Next time use smaller containers and mix more perilite in your coco also, that will help. Overwatering will not cause "lockout", instead it drowns the roots and kills them or it creates an environment that is perfect for bacteria to grow, which is also bad for your roots.
sorry bud, but Mg def is almost always a symptom of another problem.Im just hoping its not as complicated as root rot and this thing that ive had every grow is just a mag def, my plants have had it before and they always seem.to pull through like on these pics.. the last ones like 5 weeks into flower and the first one is the first week of flower, this is when the def seems to go.. i got like 56 oz off 10 plants under 3 x 600 w.. first grow i ever did.. i was really pleased with that one, need to find out what i did right lol
Hahaha thats what im saying, you cant predict shit, i mean on that grow my plants looked sick all the way through veg then i switched the flower and everything just changed.. surely root rot would of just got worse? And at that time i wasnt adjusting my ph, just straight tap water at 7.2 ph,.in coco with no perlite, and i literally followed the dosage off the bottle .. now im using ec,.ph adjusting i really thought things would be better yet it seems far from it..sorry bud, but Mg def is almost always a symptom of another problem.
I hope Im not just projecting my problems on you lol, but the thing with pythium is it varies from plant to plant. I say Ive been battling it for a year, but I think Ive had it off and on for 3 or 4 years and maybe even before then and Ive just blamed other things. I had a grow where I pulled in over 2 lbs per 1000k with my best plant being 17 oz's. Im thinking Ive got this shit on lock down and the next grow Im averaging less than half that with seeds, then the grow after that all my plants were a much better average but one or two were really really shitty. That kind of stuff
At the moment im giving them around 1.0 ec thats with my 0.2 ec tap water included.. and thats a mix of canna a and b,.rhizotonic and cannazym.. im gonna let the pots dry out but what would you suggest nutrient wise??sorry bud, but Mg def is almost always a symptom of another problem.

I use AN and I go by PPM so its going to be a hard conversion. But my rule of thumb is that I do about 1/4 strength until they are a little bigger than the ones in your picture and move up to 1/2 strength or so. In terms of PPM thats about 400-700ppm, Ive found I dont need any stronger than that for veg. For flower I increase it up to 1000ppm though. At the moment im giving them around 1.0 ec thats with my 0.2 ec tap water included.. and thats a mix of canna a and b,.rhizotonic and cannazym.. im gonna let the pots dry out but what would you suggest nutrient wise??
Cheers dude.. i understand ppm... im feeding them exactly 620ppm.. heres a couple of shots of a 2 week old plant with the same symptoms now im no expert but the roots look ok, i transplanted after a week in a dixie cup.. but when i did it had a strong root ball and it seems like its forming one here too.. i dont know though..I use AN and I go by PPM so its going to be a hard conversion. I dont know about rhizotonic or cannazym specifically, but I suspect they are similar to lots of products Ive tried and are probably not worth what you are paying for them. I suggest you test feed one plant bleach at 2 ml/gallon for the first application and 1ml/gallon after that, mix it with Canna A/B base only.
You got pythium, thats its for almost 100%. Its just not taking over your plants root ball completely yet. Your roots should be bright white, with fuzz, and smell like freshly cut cucumbers.Cheers dude.. i understand ppm... im feeding them exactly 620ppm.. heres a couple of shots of a 2 week old plant with the same symptoms now im no expert but the roots look ok, i transplanted after a week in a dixie cup.. but when i did it had a strong root ball and it seems like its forming one here too.. i dont know though..
