i growing hyrdro with a bubble stone and im just wondering how long it will take to get some bud. o yea im about 4-6 weeks in.

Say 8 more weeks if your flowering now.

This baby is one week old and seems sick...I planted her with two others and they are fine. This one has small curly leaves and the tips are dry as well as edges of her very first leaves. Any idea? ANY PLEASE?

No worries it's fine. Not every seedling germinates/grows with perfection.

There are a bunch of baddies for you plants, one of the worst and most common are spider mites.Centipedes or beetles wont harm anything but I try to keep whole garden bug free. Ladybugs are good though. Heres a pic of spider mites % mite damage.

I give my mothers at least 12 hours of strong light and then they are around indirect light for the other 12 to stop budding. I do it to slow down growth and bring down electric costs/wear n tear.

Ideally you want to keep temps around 76-78 F. Higher temps stress plant with the worst problem being hermaphrodite mutations from heat and after 85 F Cannabis stops growing until it cools. So in essence yeah you will get more yield, but its about keeping them in the healthy rage, not seeing how low the temp can go.

No problem, I love Cannabis, growing it, smoking it, learning about it, and helping teach others about it. Whether crushing propaganda, or helping out with growing a healthy plant. It has done so much for me, and on some levels practically saved my life, so I owe MJ bigtime lol.

Hey bro, I got a question no one can answer so far.

I'm trying to figure out what temps each bulb runs at in the same exact environment.

For example.....lets say you have a 4 x 4 x 7 grow tent with a vented hood and all the exhaust and intake to make things work.

Now lets use a 1000 watt hps for 1 hour, then a 600, then a 400 ...etc

What would the temp difference be for each bulb? Lets say you start the test with the 1000 watt and get a temp of 85 after 1 hour.

How much lower would the 600 watt be and so on?

I think if someone figured this out it may be possible to calculate what wattage bulb to use in a particular situation to avoid heat issues.

lets talk about nute out there on the market...im trying to find the best possable nute for my lady's. i've been useing genral hydroponic nute 3 part system, flora nector, kool bloom liq (for preflower), powder for late bloom, and b1(red). but i know that there has to be something better out there for me to use. im hearing some good things about dutch master, grotex and some of adv nute...another thing is does anyone cross there nutes.i.e use the dutch gold bloom and grow with say, useing a kool bloom from other companies, and or other additives...exmple i thinking about useing dutch with gen hydro blooms and then other additives such as voodoo and prana from adv nute...

Very interesting, but the only way it would work is if the intakes air was the same temp for every situation, as every other minute detail of the op. Then all calculations would have to be listed as something like -

An 1000 watt bulb in a growroom thats 3x3x6 with an intake air temp of 70F, using 4 - 500 cfm rated fans without Co2 and an empty room will get 78f in an hour. Thats why it's so hard, every op is different and almost everyone will have diff intake air temps-so it would't really help in the long run - to many X factors.

Yep that would stress the plant out,every day you would be telling it to flower, then telling it to reveg, then flower, then reveg. Eventually you would have unhealthy plants that would turn hermaphrodite on ya and that would be no good.

Hey Smithy,
I think I read somewhere on RIU that it's as close as you can get your lights to your plants before you start to burn them..... I think I read in the same post you can check with your hand.... if you burn your hand... it will definately burn the plant.

First off it's not my freakin job to teach you how to grow, read a fuckin book. Oh wait ya can't spell for shit so ya probably can't read or grow for shit either. And no, your just not good enough to get an answer, at least not anymore.
