No I don't have a ppm meter and here's a pic took more gonna try load them now and thanks for replyin
Ok man, heres the deal. A carpenter cant work without a tape measure right? Or hed just be guessing what lengths to cut stuff and that wouldnt work well would it? In growing a ppm or ec meter is your tape measure. So far your guessing is failing wouldnt you say? So fall off your wallet and grab a ppm meter.
Im still going to guess more feed and mag. Coco needs to be fed every watering. At low ppms to start and more later on. Taper it up ya dig?

This is my first ever grow and a friend said to me water them miss 2 days and then water them again is this wrong then I take it

Those are wise words for a soil grow. Organic potting soil comes ready to grow. Theres food already in it and the plant just has to convert it into usable energy. Aka organic nutrients. Coco and other soiless mediums like peat based mixes contain no food. Therefore all the food has to be supplied by the grower, you. The plant needs a constant food source so every watering has to have feed in it. So your starving the plant. Soiless grows usually run synthetic fertilizers because they are in a form that the plant doesnt have to convert them into usable food, its already been done. This means the plant can be burnt or overfed much faster.
Also cal mag is a supplement most growers use. Cannabis uses lots of both the calcium and the magnesium so pic up some of that. Its relatively cheap. 20 bucks or less a quart. Run it at about 120 ppm in full bloom and stop running it two weeks before you chop. Less to start obviously;) good luck

I'm vegging 6 plants under 2 600 hps just wondering if I would need to add another 600 hps for flower stage
Kinda depend how big they get I suppose, but 2x 600w sounds ample to me. I plan on using a 3'x3' footprint with my 600w, so I like 4 medium sized ones under it. I have to agree in my limited experience they look hungry, and I know coco needs cal-mag. I add a teaspoon of Epsom salt to a gallon of water for a mag boost, but I don't grow coco...
I'm a cheap-ass so I grabbed the most basic 2 meter kit on ebay, $15 for both a PH and a PPM meter . I know, won't last long but hey, it's a tape measure for now lol.
