Related to the above post,
Today might the day I solder but I may want a potentiometer rated for over 1A of current (isn't that going to cost more than building a PWM controller?). Maybe it's just a control circuit but wonder why it uses 16 gauge wire!

using a meanwell hlg-185h-c1050b and 4 x vero 29's...
Just wire the + from the power supply to + on the first COB, then the - to the next + and repeat, on the last cob a wire which runs from - to the - line of the psu.
My first point of confusion, if I do use a 100K pot and don't intend to use it to turn the light off can I leave out the WTF section in red

So with the ground lug on the pot, that can go to the fixture and to earth ground as well?
the other two lugs on the pot, doesn't really matter which one gets the blue or white, but one to each?
Not really a need to test anything, I know how many volts the 4 COB's should be using and know what the current should be at. Don't follow this as instructions, it is me guessing.
