You mean like transplanting from 5 gallon pots to 7? Or using HPS when you have MH available during veg? Oh wait!!! That's you...Sorry, i was wrong again.
If you knew the difference in yields between what a five gallon pot can give and a seven gallon pot would yield but you dont. I run drain to waste soiless so pot size is important for controlling losses. So you dont have that going for you....and i veg under t5s daisy chained together. Then transition them with a mix of MH and Hps 50/50 then flower under 16% MH/hps. But yes, youre right about the end part where you said you were wrong again.

Do you offer visitor tours?

Just kidding... sounds like a nice set up though...

Generally speaking, more light trumps skill...put both together and you have something!

Well, of course, I was not referencing yield, but just found it ridiculous to transplant twice when you might as well have gone straight to the 7 gls I guess you will have to explain the utility of that and why another tranplant stress on the plants is worth it. Or not.
And sorry I might need you to draw me a picture, how are you achieving a 5/1 (now 16%) HPS/MH light ratio.

I pot up 3 times to get into a 3.1 gal. finishing pot...easier to control smaller pots & watering cycles. I haven't seen transplant stress since the early '70's...

Try it, you might like it.

I pot up too. Maybe 5 to 10, or 3 to 7. But from 5 to 7...nawww. That seems pretty silly.

In all honesty, now take this from someone who gets "about a lb" on a straight 600w MH grow, what I understand about his light gyrations, seems also to be oddly more work than most bother with...especially since he and his BBF are trolling me for adding blue to my flower cycle. Just sayin...

Oh wait, we are in the wrong thread for this....here

Alienyellow, you are a beautiful human being...under the right light.
