Have you gotten classic seeds from firestax before. Heard great things from them... then not so great things. I was getting really excited until i saw a post of their gear throwing seeds. Was thinking ill order from sannies for the 1st time next seed order.

Is the seed dealer making the seeds, or the seed producing company?

I've run some Barney's gear and have not had a problem with that.....I do like Big Buddha's Blue Cheese better though!

And on the top of it all you can buy seeds directly from Barney.... Worst case scenario... Amsterdam is 4 hours drive from my house.

The way you worded your first post sounded like your in the US

There are rip off seed banks of note, who supply you with nothing more then bag seed. - FACT!

It was not a stretch to put these 2 things together......You never told us where you were.....easy to make the jump...
Breeders not based in the US do not sell to US based outlets for fear of FEDERAL laws! It is illegal to distribute seeds in the US. When we order - we put ourselves at risk. Seed Banks fall into a gray area and are not prosecuted. Why do YOU think many former US based breeders MOVED to the NL?
ANY EU based seeds found in US a dispensary, have been bought BUY the dispensary FROM a seedbank and are reselling them themselves - they do not buy them direct from breeders as MOST breeders will not ship to the US...Some Banks will....

I can not comment on the "prone" as that's one I have not run...

I have a Barney critical kush cut my friend and its fucking fire. He got lucky I guess. Not one of his crit kush from barneys threw seeds. Its also huge yielder. That being said I will most likely never order seeds through barneys farm because of negative stories like this. Can't say no to a tried and proven clone, no matter what seed co it comes from

I do have hope afterall.. I'll let u kno my results in about a month. Critical kush. Peppermint kush. And a few freebies from barneys. I didn't kno any better at the time..

I think you will be fine with Critical, I think it's mostly the Cookies that are killing Barney's rep? I've certainly heard from people who loved Critical, LSD, Pineapple Chunk, etc..

I got a Critical fem and a Red Diesel fem (freebies) with my Cookies, I was holding the Crit til I have space for a scrog but I popped the Red D. Very short bushy Indica growth so far. Which Barney's freebies did you get?

It's pretty overwhelming at first, hard to even pick a seedbank, then you have hundreds of strains available, all with wildly varying depth and accuracy of descriptions. I ended up looking here at the seedbank reviews then looking for the most useful freebies from the generally positive ones. I liked being able to pick my freebies at Midweek Song, and intended to get a full pack of something so I liked the breeder freebies there too. I got 5 free fems with a 10 seed buy, and at this point the freebies I've popped look great so that will ease the pain a little if the Cookies don't work out...

I agree that a lot of herms are caused from environmental problems that being said I still do not want a strain that would possibly herm because of a environmental problem. Shit does happen ,such as power outages from storms especially here in the northeast. I just want to run stable strains. Since I ran drgt I have not popped anymore fem beans just reg seeds and have not had one plant herm. Sticking to regs and clones for good don't try and fix what's not broken.

Touché, didn't specify you meant seed. However if an S1 or cross of cookies isn't real cookies you can say pretty much any strain isn't the real deal if from a cut.

What I was saying is Barneys likely didn't use the real cookies cut in their cross as opposed to say Sin City who obviously has used the real cut just by looking at it you can tell.

And don't hate on the Hawks cause their winners! Lol. Pretty sub par this season though outside the second line which is downright nasty. You up in CA?
