HOLY FUCK my shrooms r just growing like crazy!! lol just thought u guys should know and thank u for all ur cooperation in my growing of the magic shrooms!!! lol i'll update with new pics when i can ok!

buy rye grain, buy spores, mix spores in rye grain, once it turns white, mix with sanitized moo-nure compost mix, sit back and watch them grow

you can pick them just before the veil breaks that is protecting the spores under the cap or you can pick them just after the veil breaks.

i have picked mine at various stages of growth similar to what i see in you pictures.

for you , i might wait one more day then pick the biggest ones. also you have too eat more if they are wet, where as if you let them dry they seem to have more affect in less doses. also they taste better dry although i eat them wet too.

and dont worry about dying, since you know the strain and grew them yourself they are safe aside for the trip.

alright sooo like idk if my shrooms r conatminated or wat!!!??? so can yall pleez help me out here, i'll post pics up and show u wat i am talking about. i did however touch the shrooms a couple days go and they instantly like turned black and shit i hope i didnt conatminate them!! but thanks again guys for all ur help!! I LOVE ROLL IT UP

you let them go for too long and theyve started dropping spores (that black shit u see all over ur fruiting chamber). dont know if theyre still good to eat but prolly are. that white fuzzy shit is an indication that uve let that 1 go way too far and its dropped spores, died, and is starting to mold. i might be wrong tho.

can someone verify this and lemme know if they shrooms r contaminated or wat ??? lol thanks for the info, and this black mold shit looks disgusting ya know but if u say thats the spores then that is the spore which im hoping it is and not contamination

i believe you let them go too long and they dropped spores. not sure about the black fungus, but i just watched a vid on making a print and after the print was made the guy ate the cap, sooooo.....

i think nashbar might be better suited to answer this or even the guys/gals at shroomery....

GOTCHA well i think i let the spores drop too cuz that shit is like everywhere in my terrarium!! and question! willl more shrooms fruit after the spores fell every where?? thanks guys and lemme know lol, i'll take pics tommorow for an update

Nope, it will not grow more shrooms. There isn't any food for the mycelium to feed on.

well shit i thought i would get like a couple more flushes out of the cakes right? but since the spores dropped does that mean the mycelium is dead?

that i have read, i believe the problem does lie with there not being additional food for the new spores to feed on thus producing more or new mycelium.

on top of that there is an issue with contamination as spores seem to be more susceptible than fully colonized mycelium.

BUT, if you are doing pf style cakes then the instructions say to harvest what has grown, lightly clean the cake and dunk and roll.

you need to re-hydrate the cake in order to produce second and third flushes.


re-read some more at shroomery. i have been there multiple times looking up info for certain questions. you will probably get better and more advice from folks round here if you can reference info from other sources. this atleast shows your putting in some effort in finding the answers yourself.


anyhow, thats my ten cents. good luck and keep us posted.

oh, maybe adding a little H2O2 in the dunking stage might help combat bacteria.

damn when are my spores gonna get here....:evil::confused::evil:

i got a pack i let them go too long and they dropped there spores it was black / purple i didnt think anymore would grow but i kept watering them and got another 3 crops all under a light bulb pretty sweet:peace:
