Willcox live now if you want to ask him a question in his chat.
it's so tough to watch him...he tries to appear as professional but it doesn't work.
love how he says the updates aren't that timely because they volunteer...?? get a volunteer that will update the site. it's not that hard...unless there's so many updates
"what if CONroy walked away"...I hope he does. get someone who cares about us instead of $$. he's giving us a lame duck defense anyway. Tousaw did something he couldn't-he got 2 patients approved to carry more than the 150g limit. CONroy failed everyone on that one too.

I have never once believed this guy when he says patients rights are what they care about. To be more exact, any patients outside of the injunction do not seem to fall into his group of "patients" whos rights he seems so adamant to protect. More of a me and mine kinda attitude. I could be wrong, and I can admitt that if i am. But that's the impression I've always gotten about him and his fight for patients rights

i love how he said that CONroy might walk if we don't raise funds....classy if he'd do that.
i know that if we had our garden, we might have $$ to donate but CONroy cut that off by discontinuing the appeal in the higher court...where he had their sympathy...yes that still pisses me off. why not do the appeal at both levels? or at least stay in the higher court. CONroy is an experienced lawyer so why would he pull a move like that?? i don't get how he didn't recognize he had a better chance in a higher court. makes no sense at all. he should know that the judges in the higher court can over rule the judges in the lower courts...so why did he only go for the lower or equal court? they have no power to do what he asked
rant over

Wilcox is no different than the LP's, they hide behind 'patients' while they fleece them for all they're worth!

The only hat this chump wears is the one that gets him into a high profit situation, on one hand if he wins home grows he will find some way to profit that way, on the other hand he can always sell out to a LP. he said it, he is playing the fence. He basically said he has a split personality.

Hopefully our PM puts the smack down on this all by letting anyone of age who wants to grow have a small garden, that will make all these guys have to find a new ave from BM, MMAR to LPs they will all have to find a new ave. I know what my ave is so I am good. ; )

SCHEDULE II

To: Conroy-Wilcox joint-personal representative solicitor-client relationship with a non-lawyer operating as the MMAR PPL/DPL Coalition against Repeal aka Cannabis Rights Coalition.

Re: NOTICE OF INTENTIONS & PENDING LEGAL ACTIONS

From: Nadine E. Bews of Calgary, Alberta.

Be advised that the following claims are being made:

CONROY-WILCOX JOINT-PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE SOLICITOR-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP WITH A NON-LAWYER

1. Jason Wilcox retained John Conroy QC as his legal counsel in order to file a medical marijuana legal action. engagement letter - Exhibit 1

2. Wilcox established a ‘coalition of volunteers’ operating under the name MMAR PPL/DPL Coalition against Repeal aka Cannabis Rights Coalition (the “Coalition”) and established a trust fund under the name MMAR PPL/DPL Coalition against Repeal to operate as the Coalition’s principle fund raising mechanism for the purpose of soliciting and holding funds required to finance legal action to “stop some or all of the pending MMPR”. tri-fold - Exhibit 2

3. Wilcox appointed John Conroy QC as trustee of the Coalition’s trust fund creating a Conroy-Wilcox joint personal representative solicitor client relationship with a non-lawyer pursuant to July 1, 2015 amendments to the definition of trust funds under Rule 1 of the Law Society of British Columbia’s Code of Professional Conduct.

Application shall be made to federal tax court in order to obtain a decision supporting the claim that the Coalition’s corporate identity is that of a private enterprise belonging solely to Wilcox and operates under the authority of a Conroy-Wilcox joint-personal representative solicitor-client relationship with a non-lawyer.

FINANCIAL MISCONDUCT

1. Wilcox improperly solicited funds from the public; and

· improperly solicited cash donations through the strategic placement of lock boxes at locations across Canada for the purpose of payment of legal fees and which require a receipt disclosing the identity of the contributor for such cash donations; and

· failed to provide annual disclosure in proper format which is in the form of audited financial statements and not Youtube videos and Facebook posts; and

Legal action in civil court shall be filed with a demand for full financial disclosure and relief sought.

CORPORATE MISCONDUCT

4. Wilcox administers Coalition affairs under his sole supervision and authority in all matters and with no right of appeal; and

Legal action in civil court shall be filed for abuse of authority and remedy sought.

Email thread - Exhibit 3

5. Wilcox incorporated the Coalition without proper consultation with the Coalition’s contributors and without passing a special resolution by a voting membership; and

Legal action in civil court shall be filed for abuse of authority and corporate misconduct and remedy sought.

6. Wilcox intentionally breached the terms of agreement for the sale of the cannabis lifestyle products that I delivered to the Coalition for sale at the Health Expo and thereafter; and

Legal action in civil court shall be filed for breach of contract and remedy sought.

Email thread - Exhibit 4

7. Wilcox intentionally slandered my good name by falsely labelling me as drunk and delusional while staffing the Coalition booth at the Vancouver 2013 Heath Expo; and

Legal action in civil court shall be filed for slander and remedy sought.

Email thread – Exhibit 5

8. Wilcox expelled me from the Coalition without just cause or the right to a vote or to appeal your decision; and

Legal action in civil court shall be filed for wrongful dismissal and remedy sought.

Email thread – Exhibit 6

9. The Coalition is an exclusive club with membership ability predicated solely upon your decision alone and with no method of appeal.

· Wilcox failed to clearly identify the members of the Coalition's executive of which there has been no less than fifty (50) persons come and go over the Coalition’s short two (2) year existence which is a clear indication of administrative instability; and

· Wilcox failed to maintain a membership registry identifying paid-in full members with voting rights; and

· Wilcox failed hold an annual general meeting and have failed to hold elections for office.

Legal action in civil court shall be filed for abuse of authority and corporate misconduct and remedy sought.

UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

10. BC Law Society Professional Code of Conduct Rule 1- taking advantage of the patient's ill-health and Wilcox's lack of education and experience and un-business-like practices.

· Conroy had adequate time and opportunity to choose from many highly qualified candidates across Canada to partner-up with as the Coalition's representative and chose to partner-up with Wilcox in the joint-personal representative solicitor-client relationship that results from Conroy acting as the trustee of the Coalition's trust fund.

· Conroy retained Wilcox as his sole client in the Allard action in spite of having the choice of many highly qualified candidates at the founding meeting and, being the President of NORML Canada, Conroy had a choice from across Canada.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

· Conroy refused to take calls or respond to emails from members of the Coalition’s Steering Committee and from volunteers who wanted to express their concerns about Wilcox’s corporate misconduct. The only time that Conroy responded to one of my many emails is when I related concerns expressed at the founding meeting that Conroy represented both penniless patients and LP's hopefuls, who have buckets of money. Conroy claimed that the BC Law Society Code of Professional Conduct and his 'professionalism' would ensure that he represented fully and fairly each client's best interests. Time and the failed Allard Action leaving out no less than 50% of MMAR licence holders has acted as an indicator of the truth.

One thing I noticed is that JC is the president of Normal Canada. That is kind of funny seeing as he keeps bitching about money, if he was just a lawyer i would understand, but I mentioned in an earlier post that he should do probono, at the time I did not realize he is the president of Normal, Hummmm now I really think he should do probono, seeing as he chose to make himself the face of the Normal movment in Canada.

Here is your smoking gun. If any conflict of interest exists I would say the fact that Mr Conroy and Alan Young are the president and vice pres of Normal Canada is fishy. Here you have the Lawyer who is "fighting" against the MMPR, then you have his right hand man who is the first guy in Canada to get approved under the MMPR

Executive Officers:
» President – John W. Conroy
» Vice President – Alan Young
» Executive Director – Craig Jones
» Treasurer – Jim McIlwham
» Secretary – Paul Lewin

Please be advised that John Wm. Conroy QC is both the founder and president of NORML Canada and has been fund raising for NORML on the backs of MMAR patients and on their dime. It is apparent that Conroy's principle and primary interest is in 'legalization' and is unconcerned if patients' regulatory option under the MMAR to personally or designate the cultivation of medicinal cannabis is 'abrogated' and 'derogated' in order to further the recreational user's legalization cause.

norml has been working as an anti-mj activist in a lot of the states that have become legal....
I was always under the impression that they were all about legalization....but their track record is starting to speak for itself....
I would not support Norml in anything mj or mmj related....they are the ones kicking us when we are down....
It did not surprise me in the least that J.Conroy was founder and president....
I just wish I would have known this at the beginning...of all this court action....
He is tainted in my opinion.....and is no way he is working for our side....
We need someone to step up and take this whole matter in front of the courts again....and start over with someone who isn't hiding behind a dozen or so masks ....
Is there some way this can be done now....or has the damage been done.....
I think we were all so in favor of taking the gov to court, over harpie's stomping of the constitution...that we were being blind sided by norml.....and we will have let them screw us over.....
Now I'm Pissed

Cannadan, we all know that marijuana prohibition commenced as a brain-child of the CIA and needless to say NORML is its offspring.

As far as remedy, I have commenced a demand for full financial disclosure only to be met with incomplete and inconsistent responses, silence, delay, misleading information, slander, intimidation, threats and further manipulation.
I have prepared a demand for financial disclosure and also prepared a Motion under the Allard Action to have Conroy dismissed under Section 467.111 of the Canadian Criminal Code (criminal organization recruitment).
The only handicap we currently face is the cost of filing fees in Alberta court which no longer has waivers for low income persons and the new NDP government has increased all user fees to subsidize our failing economy due to falling oil prices.

I have no hope in Hell of raising a farthing from the public or patients due to the Conroy-Wilcox partnership tainting the funding pool. Thank Heavens for tax season, I shall attempt to solicit a few tax-paying clients who require their annual returns filed with Revenue Canada. Perhaps Wilcox will retain my professional services to prepare his personal tax return in order to assess the amount of income taxes and penalties payable under the Income Tax Act after I submit my claims to the Revenue Canada Informant Leads Program and have the Coalition declared as Wilcox's private enterprise operated as Wilcox's sole proprietorship and under Wilcox's administration and under Conroy's supervision and direction or else obtain a decision from both tax and civil courts that the Conroy-Wilcox partnership operating as the Coalition is a 'criminal organization' under Section 467.111 of the CCC.
