If psychs are meant to be taken why is it so easy to go overboard?

psychs are meant to be taken at their prescribed dose. if you just get a script, and you don't follow your doctor's instructions, then you are not going to begin the process of building a tolerance properly. when you're expected to take 2mg of something...let's just say xanax. and instead you wait a couple days so you can pop 6mg without hurting your stash. then you're going to get smacked in the face since you have no tolerance. now had you taken them as prescribed and then decided to try 6mg you might have a better chance of enjoying the effects and not passing out without having any memory the next morning.

i'm on a nice dose of klonopin at the moment so the post may be a bit scrambled. but its ok :) just point out anything that seems wrong.

Because, in my experience, to take the higher doses of psychs you have to be completely comfortable with who you are and the choices you've made in life. In other words your karma has to be right. Otherwise when the drug forces you to become introspective, which it undeniably does, it will tear you to pieces causing you to feel overwhelmed by a tidal wave of raw emotion and sporadic thought.
