I've made grow bags with the black landscape fabric. Buy a roll of the wider size, double it over and sew it along the edge. Measure off how tall you want them to be, remembering to add the radius of the bag. Then tie with some good cordage and cut below the knot. Turn inside out and you have a cheap ass grow bag.

I use lava rocks in my soil mix. Also try to add lots of leaves, grass or other mulch around the plants.

I will definitely keep everyone posted. I would enjoy the whole process probably wouldn't shoot the whole hike just in case but if I do get my hand in a go pro I'll film from the base of the first vertivle to where my destination is. Thank you everyone so much. and best of buds to all!

Not discouraging at all thank you for your input I greatly appreciate it! It will be very hard. I imagine myself with a 2×4 and a 5gal bucket of water hanging off each and hiking it from the stream to the spot. I'm dedicated now so I have to. I just hope I'm physically up for it!

Awesome article. I actually FIMmed them last week and they're starting new shoots all over. I've taken off many leaves so I will take a few pictures to show and see if anyone can assure me that I did it correctly if at all possible to tell. I love growing this is becoming such a passion!

Don't go all crazy about taking off leaves. Sometimes its necessary sometimes its not. You don't have very many so it's not necessary.

Nice little plant. keep in mind that every leaf that is getting at least some sun is photosynthesizing, so to a certain extent the more the better. Yur plant Will grow them as she needs them and drop them as she needs to also.

awesome advice! Thank you i just watered them all and am going to do the "no peak" maneuver for 2 days or so and see how she grows
