I could use your advice and help!!

This is my first attempt to grow and my plants are just reaching maturity now. So I have some extensive questions if you could please bare with me......

1. I have read and heard that when the little white hairs turn amber that's when it is ready to be dried...BUT only the top of my plant has orange hairs the rest are still tottally white....So does that mean I wait longer for the rest to turn amber or does it not matter because the top is already amber?

2. I have a very large plant (5+feet) that has been showing white hairs since late June and has kept getting more and more and more white hairs and is getting bigger but I don't see any actual "bud" I would not be concerned thinking it just needs more time, but the other plants that are showing bud and have amber hairs and they were placed under the grow light long after the big one.......??? Any ideas??

3.Do you have any estimate as to how much bud is produced on what size plant??
EX: 1 foot tall: $30.00-5 feet tall: $300.00<--------> get what I mean?

1. check the trichomes color with a magnifying scope-like 10 bucks at radioshack, not the color of the pistols

2. let her grow, she will fill out in time

3. too many factors in growing to know the final weight, sorry

Different plants take longer to finish flowering, but is that plant in a place where it receives the full 12 hours of dark needed per day or is it outdoors where a security light or other somewhere another light leak can be messing it up?

Never go by the hairs, always go by the trichomes.
