What's a fair split for using someone land?

I have a offer to grow on a disabled woman's property.Legal Cali. medical garden. She has the plants.
My duties would mainly consist of watering, feeding, picking yellows, harvest and trimming. The soil needs amending, this is where it get fuzzy for me, in order to amend the soil I would have to spend money. nothing too much ...This is a small garden..Something like $250...The deal is a 50/50 split so as I see it, my work is equal to her land. Am I off base on that? Should I just pony up the $250? Should we split it?
I have my own full garden, so I'm not in need of work this season..this would be a bonus...
(Disabled lady doesn't smoke..she vends to dispensaries)

This is my first post I hope i didn't goof..

Disabled lady doesn't smoke, just vends to dispensaries...

Well, nothing wrong with that, but IMO she should be paying for the entire thing, the labor involved in growing outdoors is a lot compared to the measly amount of money spent and the land that she already owns.

Tell you the truth, I'd throw a 60/40 on your part in her face lol.

Maybe he could sweeten the pot so to speak and give her some beefcake shots when he's out there sweating in the garden? Don't be bogarting now.

My first thought are if she is well off or doing it to make life easier, with just what our measly SSI benefits pay.
If she needs it to survive then by all means do it. What do you figure hour wise it will take. 100 to 150 hours total. If you get 10lbs and 5 of that is yours, you'll be around the $100 a hour mark for you're time.

I don't have the required equipment... :)

also, I should add that she has done this for years...her normal guy has to get a real job...
it's a small 20 plant garden. I would be lucky to get 5 pounds.
I don't see how it would be more than 8 hours of work a month..till trim
I will show her this thread and we will go from there...
I thought this would of been a cut and dry question....and that's what I get for thinking ....

Maybe since she has the experience, 50/50 is still a really good deal on your part.

I was just under the impression that she had no clue what she was doing and was just wanting to reap the rewards.

I still have little respect for people who grow marijuana solely for profit. Sure, I make a lot of money growing myself, but I started growing for my own self to have my own buds and then there was this surplus of the stuff haha.

I feel the same way...Profiting from pain is kinda a fucked up business model... but extra dank is extra...

You never mentioned the grow setup. 20 plants could easily yeilds 40 pounds or more or less. Its all about the variables
No chance at 40.... 20 25 gallon grow bags...Strains are Mothertongue and thc bomb. I would be lucky to get 3.5 pounds for my cut. Not too shabby for less than 50 hours of work...
If I had been offered this job a month ago, the bags would be eight times the size.

With some effort you can pull a pound from a 25 gallon pot. So you could be in for a nice surprise if you know what your doing.

Her land for your labor ..yeah!

but split the costs

she's to 'pony' up the $125

the fact she don't medicate is a red flag tho?

good luck
