Making Jerky Today!

I've never made jerky before. The closest thing I've made is pop-tarts. Which isn't close at all infact. So you've one-upped me on this one too. That looks fucking good.

I was off on my measurements.

I guess the dehydrator holds about a pound per tray so I had 20lbs of meat when I started.



This was the first run. I just filled all the trays back up for another.

Oh jesus that was funny, reminded me of the time one of the guys stepped on the laser pedal and the laser handle, which was laying on the patient's chest, lit her breast on fire! Ahh shit that was funny and I'm going to burn in hell for laughing.

Probably won't get that going till mid summer. The ground is real wet back there. Makes it muddy moving logs. It'll go quick once I get started.

I have another 15lbs of meat in the dehydrator right now of pepper jerky. Almost out of spices so I think this is all I'm going to be doing. The wife says we're almost out of hamburger so we're gonna grind up the rest of the meat and save it for that.So as much as I wanted to turn 200lbs of meat into jerky, looks like it's going to be 55lbs. Sorry to disappoint.

that looks like the same jurkey gun I have.I like it made out of deer meat here for the reason why is It FREE MEAT but I do corn feed them 1 month befor we shot them.deer is even good caned..by the way that looks great and I bet it taste good when you get it dun..happy eating..ky
