pffft...for the record I know what diodes are in the Amare and they aren't all listed. Just trying to weed out the spam trolls, having a little fun...I do stay up on specs, been around these parts awhile.

Fuck Ive built more fixtures than most of the trolls have wet dreamed about.
It appears there is only one span troll here. As for building so many fixtures? I'm very proud of you, really! Pat yourself on the back please. I thought but now know the jealousy is real, I was just fishing with the previous comment. You keep your rat traps and I will keep mine. Best of luck to you sir.:peace:

Yeah keep promoting a brand you haven't even grown with. Congrats Pet Flora Jr. Where is that datasheet. Still waiting.

What's in the amare then? XT-E's?
There are still unknown diodes. Not all are listed. I can't read minds. Epistar's were being used even with the Cree CX.....but lack of information is clearly to blame from the company. Proceed at own risk. A small few recently sing their praised with 1 grow between all the cackling and it is one of the most expensive lights out there. Educate yourselves.

I DO NOT plan on EVER buying a pre made light again. I LOVE my 4 cob gogreenled but after my diy, it's too fun, inexpensive, efficient, and rewarding to ever buy a pre built again. DIY is just awesome.

The se-450's that I purchased only used Xp-e2 and xp-g2 diods besides the cobs. With the 450 compared to the 6 cob light from go green I ended up with 180 extra 5watt diodes vs 6 more cobs. 3 Amare or 4 go green were needed for my space. I will take the trade, broader spectrum, option to veg with monochromes by just flipping the switch. I believe it's an all around better light. Now to a light nazi I'm sure there may be one around that's .065% more efficient but I honestly don't give a shit. Victor is a top notch guy from our talking. I have read of issues and new lights were shipped before the old ones were even received. That's where my money went and I'm thrilled about it. Ohhhh and the price was much less than list which made the decision even more appealing

courageous spammer. spam on. xp-e2? why pay top dollar...Cree light bulbs at home depot use the exact same diode. Nazi, lol, better than a liar. :peace:

Its cool whatever you use. The thing is some here need to do the "use" part, then report back. Im tired of expensive ass bullshit being pushed by twinks with zero grows. Grow the light a year then sing its praises. When you have guessing......Datasheets and diodes provide a baseline,

@ big smo its not nazism to ask what diodes and see 4 different answers lol :peace:
Im gonna laugh in 6 months when your incomplete grow reports suggest a weak ass light for top dollar, but what the fuck ever. Open Forum, lick me balls. Cant handle the truth, post in the year.

Just trying to 'dress up' the wiring

People like you really bother me, it's real that's the sick part. Imagine a world filled with people like you?

Anyways yeah the lights total bullshit 3070 cobs and Cree leds surrounding. 1/2 grow journal dead plants unknown drivers ext. sounds like all the lights everyone here promotes.

Maybe I should try to explain it differently so you understand. Ok tough guy? This light has 6 fucking cobs. Get it? 6 of the 3070 cobs that are the same as go green leds. The Amare has 60 Cree LEDs surrounding the fucking cob too where go green has none. No fucking LEDs. I paid less money for the Amare that has more. Very fucking simple. If you're so sick of "twinks" posting about newly purchased lights in a thread whose title is exactly what you don't like I honestly think you have the problem here. Now I'm just fueling your fire that burns so deep. instantly coming here with bullshit negativity towards me for posting about a new purchase.

show me the diode and driver sheets from Amare......still waiting

never asked for anything else, certainly a paragraph isn't required.
Remind me of a kid with their arms crossed and tapping their foot.

Let me start off by saying any one who acts like that in a “Helpful” thread is going to get a paragraph. It's not my fault you want to demand specs but do not want to take the time to email Amare asking for them. I have supplied a lot of information about their company and their lights because they offer complete transparency at a very fast response time.

This means every time I asked a question it was answered with a smile. You consider them to be “no name brand” Acting like a newer light cant come out with something good. You are an insult to DYI for that thinking. I don't care about how many lights you have made or what your rep is. No one is trolling this thread but your self.

I don't have to grow with them or with go green or with any other LED company. I love watching others grow logs who are using them (Be more then happy to over whelm you with links from other forums with users who are using them) I saw just as many grow logs for them as I did for all of the lights I was looking at. So just because some one “hasn't” grown with the lights does not mean they didn't invest time into looking at them.

I have went out of my way to speak to them again and provide me with some information for any one who is interested in Amare lights. Here is the information that they gave me with no delay. Here comes some more paragraphs of useful information for any one interested.

Their SE 450 models + uvb currently uses (Older 450. Newer ones are getting Meanswell drivers.) http://en.lsdpower.com/UploadFile/file/20140818/20140818095679607960.pdf The same driver thats being used by PLC.

The SolarPro and new SolarEclipse-Solo250(SE-S250) use Meanwell. Because there are some gurus(hmmm) who like to grab their pitch forks and torches at the thought that any thing isn't “meanwell” they will be adding meanwell to their newer SE 450 units as well. I trust you can find the specs for that.

They will be sending me photos (I will link here as well) of their monochromes packaging.

As for the costs being high? To me every thing about amare was worth it. From their crees, drivers and their multi spectrum to the finishing uvb bulb. Their HI-LEDs deliver the highest umol/watt and umol/dollar.

AMARE SE450UVB: MSRP$1145 @450w = $2.54/w (actual ~500w) = $2.29/w
A51: MSRP$495 @110w = $4.50/w
Go Green: MSRP@$799 @300w = $2.66
PLC: MSRP$799 @300w = $266/w

As for “Trolls” Only troll here is you. You are too lazy to even e-mail a company to ask them simple questions like this. Now, if you have more questions you are more then happy to email them your self (Remember you get more bee's with honey then you do with vinegar. Try not to start the email off like you do on these threads). info@amaretechnologies.com his name is Victor.

I have recommended Tasty LED, GoGreen, johnson and Mars. Why? I have looked into these (I do like them all) and every one of them showed good service and I have seen good things from them. I recommend based on some ones budget, space, and what they describe that they are looking for.

Any one who is interested they said they are having 30% off their new Pro9 for any one willing to do a grow log. Good or bad just post the results and how every thing is going. They have extended their 25% off promo they had from the 420 sale. I think it's on all their stock I am not 100% on that, but I know I used the 420 sale for my 450 unit.

I will post the others at the end of the week they are getting pictures per my request

i didn't read it and won't...but thanks, my post history is good enough :peace:

Amare is still overpriced. No customer's opinion or dealer rep is going to change that. Ive spent literally hundreds of hours tabulating diode characteristics. Prove me wrong.

Fuck your other recommendations, know one cares, stop quoting me, you were never addressed initially, now you feel like you have to be part of it????????????

grow with whatever, stop pretending they are the bestest!!!!!

There goes that little kid tapping his foot again. Open forum to talk about LED right? You want to sit there and hate on some LED because in your wasted time of hundreds of hours you declare it's not up to your par? Get a life.

Never once did I say they was the best. But if you are going to hate on it, heres the facts in my posts, hate on that.

I will gladly go out of my way to help any one with any thing long as they are nice in return. They are more money because they are not just basic cobs either. They have more to the lights then just that. They are also cheap to run, I put those numbers in my post about comparing them. If you spent a lot of time researching this stuff you should be getting off on those numbers.

Over priced compared to what? You have only knocked Amare. Name one light company that has 6 cobs that you think has the best price then I will post my invoice. Not including the mono's and the uv I bet I paid a hell of a lot less.

Yeah, I been trying to say that.. You can pay the 600-800$ for a good 6 cob light. But thats all you are getting is the cobs. I paid about 900 for my light and thats with the cobs, monos, and uvb. If they just sold "Cob" Led it be a different price, not sure why he's not getting that..

Side note wish I could find it saw it in some ones log that I thought was cool. Another company forget the name =/ Let you more or less build your own light with them. Let you pick your spectrum and such. Seemed pretty good I will try and find it and post it for any one interested in that.

Exactly! Plus the Amare adds 1 foot more coverage than most regular 6 cob lights. My space is 4x12 so 3 Amare works perfectly. If I went with just go green I would need an extra light for the same coverage. After buying 3 there is an additional discount too.
