Week 9 of Flower

So I'm only growing 1 Blue Dream because this is my first ever grow. I've read on my threads that Blue Dream is 11 weeks until harvest and since I'm on week 9 (today) I would start to flush the last 2 weeks up until harvest.

My concern is that since my grow space it limited (19 IN. X 18IN. X 24IN.) my buds are not very dense at all. And considering that this is my first, I really don't know how it should look like. I've seen pictures online but that's about it.

Some reassurance would be great.

Oh, and I've been using Hawaiian Bud and Bloom 5-50-17 along with cal-mag.

Keep feeding, still looks too have 3 weeks left, i give 2 plain water feedings before harvest, too fade the plant out, so don't flush till a week before harvest or 10 days roughly

If its in soil you don't need to flush. I cant for the life of me wonder why on earth people are still doing this ridiculous "flushing".

If its in soil you really don't even need any added nutrients, unless it shows signs of deficiencies.

You should just be feeding it water.
That's true and false. In soil (nutrients in the soil) without salt based nutes, then yes, no need to flush. Hell even with salt based nutes you still don't have to flush.

However it is best to do so in soil, soilless or hydro.

But it's not always possible. Different strains require different flowering times. So if you don't flush you'll be fine. But it's better if you do, especially if you use nitrogen through out flower.

But now I use Mountain Dew for flushing. I yielded about a pound last run using MD.. I'm going to try code red this run..

Wait did you say mountain dew, as in the beverage?

It does look very dark, but dunno if that's normal for blue dream. If a plant was close to harvest, I would hope to see it start to eat up its nitrogen reserves by now, with the lower leaves starting to yellow a bit.

Some of those leaf tips look crispy man, touch of nute burn maybe? I would say still got a few weeks at least, those hairs look far too white and fresh! Dont trust seedbanks harvest times, every seed is a snowflake, with its own characteristics. Its ready when its ready. Get a magnifying glass!

Grow space shouldn't determine bud density I wouldn't think. That's more airflow and light intensity. What lights are being used?

I would get yourself some LED lights for her! There about $90 each and do the trick. They do look very green which like peeps have said maybe too much nitrogen. I had to much nitrogen so adapted my notes and she came back a lighter shade. This is my first grow 5th week in flower :

Let me guess. You suggest LED for anything. A $90, led is Not the answer here any more than anything odanksta posted.

its dark because of the strain, its fluffy because of the lights, for what you had youve done amazing, hard to keep a blue dream under 24" tall.. Welcome to riu, my advice, keep reading, and only take advice from people who have first hand knowledge and pictures to back up their claims

From the lights he is using i presumed he doesn't want a large CFL set up and maybe a budget grow so suggested LED's. They do well for what they are and at the price they are and the running costs there ideal. That can't be denied. Merely a suggestion though i am not saying he should demo use them but its an option.

He never mentioned the light he was using. Your suggestion is without merit and muddied the water as much as Mountain Dew did. Other than that your plants look good in spite of the LEDs and I would love a remote camera.
