That respectable but may I ask you why you start them so late? Id rather have one plant produce 5-10 pounds then have more that produces less...

grow season here in coastal maine is from june 1st to mid sept and I got a lot of plants that will be huge for here the late ones are replacements and we provide a lot of females plants to people that cant start them inside I dam sure aren't giving my 5-6 ft ones I use for the season away I have to rotate plants out and replace them in the greenhouse so I do 3 batchs and everyone is happy

oh ya in some places for guerilla growing they need to stay shorter and just put more of them in the alder swamps right on side the road you be surprised what ya can grow if you use the " out of sight- out of mind " way of thinking

Decided to split difference and do a couple clones and and a few seeds. Clone possibles I'm looking at: Blue Widow, Black Cherry Soda, Jack Herer, Green Crack, Cindy 99. Anyone have any experience with these outside? Found a few posts recommending C99 but no grow results.
Probably looking at Northern Lights or Blueberry for seed unless another good indica catches my eye.

I like anything that kills my pain 
Sativas/hybrids work well for fibro. Indica does ok for me for pain but love it for bedtime.

Hey Getaway, I too grow in a wet climate! What are some of your techniques for keeping away from pest and mold issues! I have picked up some interesting tricks of my own over the years but would like to hear some of yours!

I've seen Alphakronik on The Attitude bank and looked like whoever that breeder is had some pretty ko0l stuff, but that doesn't say much because I haven't read any grows or reviews from him and wasn't considering buying anything from him atleast yet. I'm the type who likes to test stuff myself before making judgement.
That said, I've read nothing but good reviews for Mr. Nice's gear and Shantibaba's Master Kush x Skunk s what I'm after once I get everything together.
Someone on here mentioned a Skunk #1 x Durban. I'd also like to collect up on the Skunk #1 seeds myself and will place an order for Mr. Nice's "Shit" (Skunk #1) when I get the MK. Since I'd like to make sure to have a good bulk for future pheno hunting I'd always order atleast 30 seeds to boot. GAGE GREEN's Journeyman (Oddysey x Joseph's OG) looks promising too.
For me I don't have access to clones so I'd start with seeds regardless but if a certain strain's pheno is what you're seeking, go for the clone that you know works.

Started doing math (never a good thing). How long after solstice are plants going to start looking at blooming? If early July then seeds are going to only be 5ish weeks. Is that going to be enough time to pull a decent yield? Or will I be better with 4 clones and seed next year?

I dont manipulate them at all...just let them do their thing but ive never had one bigger then 2 feet. (The sativa strains do get taller and stretchier though) but I bring mine in at night under lights to get a decent yield. If just left outside they might get tall and stretchy. Idk...

I've heard great things about Jack, but I stayed away from it because (I think) I read that it can take 9-11 weeks to flower. I'm in the "Gateway to the Gorge" and beyond normal Oregon fall rain, my fall comes with high winds, so I need plants that finish early. If you've got good southern exposure -- nothing blocking the sun as it lowers to the south in September -- then you will probably have enough sun to finish a strongly sativa strain like Jack. I hope to do an indoor with it next winter.
I got my seeds earlier in the season from Harborside, they just changed owners and are Pur Roots now. I got some LSD because its mold-resistant and finishes early, and some Dr. Who (but decided not to run the Dr. this time). Both are Indica dominant hybrids, my patient/wife prefers Sativa-doms so the rest I'm doing from clones (a Jillybean and a Gorilla Glue #4 I picked up at Kind Heart Collective, and two I took from my current indoor, and Bruce Banner #3 and a Chemdawg OG x Rugburn OG (picked up months ago at Progressive Collective)). I'm growing just about everything in pots, so if something needs more time and the weather goes to shit, I'm hoping to pick up some cheap lights and finish them in the garage. Last year was my first outdoor, and I learned a lot about things I can not control.
Tomorrow I'm up-potting the seeds from 1 gallon pots into their final pots, the clones I took and the ones I bought aren't ready yet, seeds definitely root and grow faster once they get going.
