I didn't know that about the offspring south collidal silver. Guess my ship is tight lol. I'm new to growing and especially breeding. I have tons of book knowledge and a little hands on.best way to get stable feminized offspring is light stress a solid female. if it herms naturally under minimal stress, not good stock.
alot of colloidal silver offspring will herm if you dont run a tight ship.
take a solid female and light stress it for weeks. get it to herm.
Cool....you can get colloidal silver here pretty easy but getting the ppm right may be tricky always like products you can use straight out of the box!For sure you can trealass is probably easiest to find its probably just a name brand with one extra thing but mostly collidal silver but they are making it for cannabis so you know the ppm will be right. I would go with that
first of all some females herm with slightest stress isuues. stay away. take a proven femal that has nver hermed and slowly but surely stress it out.Light stress how Elvis?
It easy to make some silver like coins a 9v battery some wire and 2 alligator clips.nice topic,
where do I get the colloidal silver from?
peace
I know for a fact , I used to be a jeweler, that coins are not that nice due their alloys' content , like copper, zinc and others so, that could interfere and contaminate the colloidal silver as well. So to make sure the colloidal silver solution is free of contamination, you should use, Fine Silver or Ag 1000, so this way you will have only one metal to deal with. I never did colloidal silver, but I think we should consider the facts. I might have some fine silver somewhere......It easy to make some silver like coins a 9v battery some wire and 2 alligator clips.
You can't have electrolysis using just plain water w gold neither platinum. U need heavy chemicals to play w then, like sodium cyanide. U won't like it ! Silver works cuss once it gets inside the plant it bonds w the copper already inside the plant. I read a thread about it, over here RIU. I don't remember where , lol.Why does silver work and not platinum or gold? Light stress works to and some will throw nanners when they are over ripe.
yes then you will have fem, seeds..ky..it worked for me the first time and did a great job..Do you think if I use colloidal silver or trealass like KY suggested that I could turn some of the female clones into males then use that pollen?
I have grew pot over 40 years and tryed that many many times and it has never worked for me or know one I know,by letting a plant grow till its over ripe as you say and we have left them plants till the weather killed them...kyWhy does silver work and not platinum or gold? Thanks KY...will give it a try.yes then you will have fem, seeds..ky..it worked for me the first time and did a great job..
Dumb question i get these trophies on here it says to pick but you can't. Just wondering i don't really care just wondering what trophies are all aboutbest way to get stable feminized offspring is light stress a solid female. if it herms naturally under minimal stress, not good stock.

It may work indoors better then outside is my guess but just a guess. It's like moonlight and street lights don't affect the photo period of most plants if they ate grown from start outside. Or at least this is what i have read, it depends on who you ask. I know some companies make they're seeds by stressing females others have trouble with it. I know most home breeders use collidal silver but not all. I'm new to breeding and growing only a year maybe a little more. Begginer for sure with both. I could give you all kinds of book knowledge have been reading about it for two years. Probably more book knowledgeable than some great growers who would blow my skills ten fold. Proof is in the pudding I'm a newbie all the way at best my skills are lacking for sure lol.I have grew pot over 40 years and tryed that many many times and it has never worked for me or know one I know,by letting a plant grow till its over ripe as you say and we have left them plants till the weather killed them...ky
Oh yes i agree 100% I get better everytime. Tons to learn though I have been growing for a year now and i know people in their first grow who do better. Makes me sad but i have taught myself no one held my hand all the reading i did was a good start but hands on is the only real way. I spent time in Madison country KY years ago. Outside LexingtonWe all learn till the day we die if we are trying and I am still learning and you will also..ky
