disappointed in these GDP, cant see how the 2 pictured are related, this is the best purp pheno i had out of the 3, this bud pollinated with Irie Cookie Stomper, the smoke is very good & the plants are strong & sturdy...but ffs!...wheres the colour??? top pic is mine, 2nd pic from the net, the Cannaventure Raspberry Kush which doesnt even claim to be a purple strain has a ton more colour than these GDP tsk...

well honestly bro i would look to the raspberry kush for a true purp variety, i only ended up with 2 & 1 is as purple as anything ive ever seen, dont know how often that purp pheno will appear but its solid colour through & through, i get way more colour out of some blueberry crosses ive got than the GDP too...sheeeesh! maybe GDP should be renamed...granddaddypurplesortasometimes/GDPSS?

@v.s one I've grown a stupid number of blueberry strains and crosses. The true blueberry from DJ is imho the best. Awesome crosses with it are big blue (crossed to NL 5), blue og (crossed to og 1
and blue tara (got snow lotus and bubba in it). I'm sure there are others that i can't remember lol.

again the star of this seasons grow was of course....LaPlata Labs DGOG!...& she's purped up better than the GDP too, chunky nugs & fantastic terps, pray the Irie Cookie Stomper pollen has produced good beans that lay inside these buds?

Looks like you may have chopped a bit early for the purple in GDP. It looks finished at week 8 but turns purple late week 8 into week 9. Best if pulled at 9.5-10 weeks Ime with the original kens cut.

thanks for the info kmog33, this was my first GDP grow, i will take note of what you state so i remember with the offspring to wait for the purple to come through, 1 of the GDP was pollinated with the cookie stomper, 2 other GDP were pollinated with C99

Sound like some solid crosses. When I first was running GDP I chopped around the same time/color as you. Then, my buddy that gifted me the cut told me about the late purpling. Kind of like how og can be chopped at 60, but is way better if you wait til 70.

thanks easty, im very interested to see how those DGOG crosses turn out cos the only male from the DGOG i had was sterile, just hope the females have good genes for crosses, never know until they are grown out, man i can recommend the DGOG bro, they are solid large rockhard skanky dank buds, smoking some up in a week or so, just getting through some others first

Yeah man, I'm looking forward to the DGOG crosses too, I'm sure she'll shine through in the crosses. I tend to find they do if they are strong traits, which they loo like they are!! Woo hoo!!
I'll have my new journal up on the weekend too, popped about 20 beans this round. Doing 2 strains of bigworm, 2 of great lakes genetics strains, th bubblegum, buddah tahoe og and hopefully some bcsc northern lights 5. Going to do a sog with them!!
