Speaking of weather, thanks to Tropical Storm Colin, I've got a couple three inches of rain today. I hate to sound dramatic, but I was starting to worry about wholesale losses due to dry weather. This will at least get me a month or more down the road.
I did move the trays of sprouts at the original holding ground. Most of them looked alright. A couple had cashed, but June is grasshopper season here, so I can't blame the rain 100%.
I put seeds in soil yesterday.

3 GV2's
3 BST1's
3 BST2's
1 60/40 BST1/GV1 This was a seed in my camp smoke. I started out thinking I was 60% sure it was GV1 when I found it on the rolling tray. {I like to go through my stash and do 1 hit from each kind. Cool as long as I don't leave a seed on the tray from one smoke to the next} But when I went to plant it, the seed itself looks like BST1. Anyway, it will let us know soon.

I put the trays of seeds, along with the trays of pepper and cilantro, in the underground green house to keep them from washing away.

Yeah have had a few of those days already. Older plants do fine, its when they are less than a month and they start to float....no bueno

It turned out to be about 3 1/2 inches. Here is what it looked like in one of my kiddie pools.

My wife had a birthday this week, and I got all the presents. Well, not exactly true, but I did get a new machete, folding saw, a magnesium fire starter and more mosquito netting. The saw doesn't cut quite as good as my other one, but it fits in the pack much better. I forgot to take pictures.

I did a little more LOB {lean over, Baby} work at the HR patch today. I learned my lesson about using dead pine limbs for weight. Today I cut green oak limbs. They won't gain as much weight when it rains. Need to find time to work with all of them.

I did some LOB work on this girl. I don't have an after picture, but she is spread out now. {also took lots of tops}

Yep, she gets a little more sun than some of the others. Some her age are barely knee high. I can't do any major tree cutting, but I did pull some younger trees over today. That will help.I predict that will be a nice bush

weed grows good in them kitty pools.I got a bunch of them planted with pot in the bush just put plenty drain holes in the bottem of them and straw around the out side to help keep them cool in the hot summer and on top so they don't dry out as fast..ky

I'm between 30.5 and 31 degrees. 14 hours 6 minutes of {actual} daylight today.

I'm not concerned. Not sure how much would leach into the ground during a single growing season. Can't be much. I do use leaves when I'm growing in oak woods. Pine straw when growing in pines.

I drag the hose over and water the pools in the garden everyday. I only have one woods spot with that kind of water, and I am digging kiddie pool sized holes there, sans the kiddie pool.

I did some more training this week. I really need more time so I can get to every patch at least once a week. I just don't see that happening.
