What's the distance between your plants in the ground?
Original plan was a 12'x 30'hoop so they each occupy a 5' x 6' space. Put a 13' x 33' greenhouse over them today and I will be doing light dep starting on the 14th. They are too close together to go full term in those holes. But it's the space I have so fuck it. I'll throw some pics up tomorrow.

Fair enough. I'm planning on spacing mine 3-3.5 feet apart due to space, difference being to i only get 5-7 hours of light :p.

Trying something different this year at my home grow whereas our company received our recreational producer license last month . Anyway, have 43 plants thrown into 2 6x3' raised beds planted on 6/23. Going to veg them another week or two and then light dep them. I have wanted to see how an outdoor pseudo sea of green will perform. Location is se PDX
Interesting experiment, I look forward to seeing the results.

This weather is odd. I've got PM on various plants around my garden, but so far not on my cannabis. Anyone seeing signs of PM on their girls? Since mine are not covered, I haven't tried to spray them, I imagine whatever I put on would wash off within a week when it rained again.

Going out today to do another big trim, make sure there's plenty of air space in there, and not too many leaves are touching.

I've seen some small spots of pm on the girls in the light dep. not much, but I've been watching it. I've sprayed with neem a couple times but since the bigger girls went into flower on the 13th I'm hesitant to continue. I've heard Rosemary oil has anti fungal properties so I will continue with that for the next week or two. In the past I've never noticed any flavor or harshness from it all the way up until week 6. I pluck leaves as soon as I notice spots. It's my understanding it spreads so it seems to be helping.

Once you put them under cover -- even if its a hoop house with both ends wide open -- I've found the humidity level around them rises. I don't recall from the pics, but if you don't have a fan running you might think about adding one at one of the far ends. Even if its overcast and 90% humidity, it seems that keeping the air moving makes it way less hospitable to PM spores to settle on leaves. Personally I'm not opposed to mixing some GreenCure in with my Neem oil, but everyone has their comfort zone (at least during veg, I won't spray at all during flower).

Knock wood: no. I have a couple of roses nearby that do; and summer squash planted which always gets it later in the season. Still knockin': PM wasn't my nemesis last year, bud rot was. And I agree with you in that once the cover goes up, humidity changes dramatically. Whether or not the sod is still in place... Amen on the weather, but it's a warm rain  Still windy on some afternoons.

@Dear ol" Thankful Grower! What bugs? Where(ish) are you located?

I use Rosemary, mint, clove and neem oil. .5 tsp per gallon, pro tekt silica at .5 tsp per gallon, 2 oz of aloe Vera juice and 1 tbsp per gallon of dr Bronners. Works for bugs and pm. When I was doing indoor only I'd make a tea with fresh mint, rosemary and cloves then add the pro tekt, neem and dr Bronners with the pulp from 1 filet off of my aloe squeezed in. Now that I'm doing things on a much larger scale I use the oils and aloe juice. If mites are a big problem and you don't care about organic, forbid 4h is the best I've used or seen.

I have a 6" fan pulling air over night. I think the problem is the fact that i pull tarp from 9-9. With my work schedule it's easier and means my wife isn't pulling tarp with a baby on the hip. Even with the fan, the fact that it can heat up in the morning a bit and that the plants are in pots straight in the lawn combine to make it pretty muggy. I will throw a circulation fan in there too though.

I don't think that it helps fight pests as much as it strengthens the plant and or helps with absorption of oils. I know build a soil uses aloe powder in their IPM mix and a post from lumperdog/ClackamasCoots i saw said the aloe was critical. His recipe is a cup of fresh rosemary steeped and blended into a gallon of water with the addition of soap, silica and aloe. I would use Rosemary and any other lamiaceae family herbs in the mix. Mint cilantro sage, whatever was lying around. The Rosemary has high levels of camphor which I believe he said bursts insect eggs. Could be wrong about the exact details as it was a long time ago that I read that post by I know it seems to be working.

I'm with you DG: stand at just the right spot and I can see Donkey Kong peeking over the garden fence (about halfway between fence and street). I just measured, less the pot height = approx. 6'6" & still reaching!

Great job Jetson,
DK likes to grow tall, my shrubs are 6ft

Neem meal in the soil mix is great for prevention but I've heard mixed reviews about worms liking it. Also look into foilars with insect frass. I hear it is the only plant available form of chitin.
worms do fine with it. I use a big handfull in all the 4 gallon pots and they are all full of worms as well
